Re: The Crew Wishlist
I would much rather have less lag than a vinyl editor, that's for sure. Some people are tasteful or artistic with such a tool, but 90% of people absolutely ruin their cars. Does anyone remember Midnight Club LA's Rate My Ride thing? ALL of the top cars were supercars plastered with branded logos. Hi...

Re: The Crew Missions
There's only so much you can do with a car as far as game modes are concerned. It seems like they have a good list here, I only hope we will be able to make our own races in the future, either that or Ivory Tower will continue to deliver more after release.

Re: The Crew Missions
Don't worry about the damage. It'll be one of my first priorities to mod it out (at least visually). Of course I'll still let the damage meter fill up and your car wipe out, but I'm hoping to get rid of the cosmetic damage because it's a limp effort when the manufacturers interfere (and I like my ca...

Re: In game communication
Once again, that's fine and dandy for talking to people you already know, but what about meeting new people? GTA:V has a horrible community, and the lack of communication goes a long way to explain that.

Re: In game communication
That's true, but with private chat you never get to make new friends. Ivory Tower talks a lot about the sense of community it fostered in TDU, and how it hopes to recreate that, but how on earth will there be any sense of community if most of the people you come across are either silent or using thi...

Re: In game communication
I'm with you guys 100%, some of the best friends I ever made in gaming were on Midnight Club 3, a game released eight years ago! A game with a cruise mode and text chat. It means that you can communicate with everyone, even people without mics, and sound quality is no longer a barrier. I hate voice ...

Re: The Crew Wishlist
I'm with you, MadMan. Open world games have never quite nailed the driving model, and those that came close (Driver: SF, for example), were lacking in other areas like no customisation and a closed-off, lifeless world of no multiplayer. The Crew is the game that really does seem to have it all. I on...
