It's because the definition of what is a supercar differs from one person to another.

To me the first real supercar is the Ferrari 288 GTO, the first production car to break the 300 km/h barrier.

It's totally weird and kinda cool. The overall design and Nismo color-scheme makes it look very Japanese, not Italian or Indian.

The claimed specs do make for a promising Tesla competitor, let's see if Faraday Future will even live to see this car produced.
