Massive necro there

Burnout Paradise has always been a fun Arcade game. EA shamelessly copied that format to one of their NFS clones. Still fun, but also a high deja vu level.

Massive jumps :2thumbsup:

I've Got to admit I quite enjoyed playing it too, it now sits on my shelf gathering dust but I do glance at it now and then and think it would be fun to play it just one more time. :D

I had a Huge break from it, as you can tell from the necro haha.

I just got back to it as most of my friends started too. I'm still having the same amount of fun. Burnout Paradise was in the era of innocent gaming, as in EA wouldn't rip you off, and the DLC was worth the price. It wasn't so much about making the money, it was about giving the players new things so they would trust the developer.

Now look at 2014, and EA are just awful in the way that they release things, copy+paste, then sell again under a new title. I believe EA have also axed criterion, which is a sad thing to happen.
