Street car sims on PC
Anyone know of a good sim with street cars on PC? i'm thinking of getting a fanatec gt3 instead of an xbox one and would like a forza alternative. i'd like it to come with street cars out of the box though
For some cool street car racing you can try either
Race07 series
rFactor
rFactor2
These are all sims.
For these programs there are very many race classes available, including street cars.

Just check out the amount of tracks, cars and race series. Also very good wheel support for almost every steering wheel around.
Steam usually has some very interesting offers on the SimBin/RaceOn products.
If you want to take it real serious there is iRacing, also with a monthly fee and championships.
And there is Assetto Corsa. That one should be good as well

Maybe the next generation of Forza will also come to PC, who knows

Auto Club Revolution
I was in the beta for ACR, but was not really impressed with the driving and lost interest in that project.
Assetto Corsa on the other hand seems to get better and better, getting up to par with iRacing and with much nicer Graphics.
Unlike some of the HC Sim racers, i think eye candy matters.
I also have rF2 installed but don't play it too much.
TBH i think that driving in open world games is much more fun.
One of the reasons why The Crew is high on my list.
That one will have top notch driving dynamics with a cool open world to explore
