As Grooks mentioned community input as important factor for the development of a new TDU 3, i like to kick off with our own wishlist for TDU 3.

I will update the OP on a regular base.
  • Easy hook up with friends
  • 12 or more player groups to drive around with
  • Kick ass customizing, sticker and paint shop
  • Custom radio
  • Better class separation, more focused on specific goals in the game and better balanced ( so not everybody takes the same cars for every race)
  • All the good stuff from TDU 1 and TDU 2.
  • Better customizable player homes with extention options and double garages for the large ones.
  • Private Showroom
  • Being able to share paint for club cars
  • Return of Lisas and the CRC (both) but with the option to moderate high scores (give cheats no chance)
  • Return of the models with an attitude
  • Clean driving bonus in races and missions
  • Auto ban for rammers from current race (warning, yellow, red)
  • In game moderators
  • Pro active to all possible cheat possibilities
  • Oahu
  • Ibiza
  • Isle of Man
  • Prototypes and interesting historic cars. Not just the standard dealership stuff.
  • Bikes and choppers for easy riding cruises
  • Real Hot rodding and Rat Rods
  • Lousy starter cars from a junkyard, so you really have to work your way up.
  • Buying and selling of custom parts and paint.
  • Auction hall
  • Casino and Arcade with working games.
  • Mini games in player homes, pooltable, game table with Pong, etc
  • Pinball and arcade machines in player homes as option
  • Everything working, not just static objects.
  • Being able to jump in a pool
  • Next gen graphics and DX12 eye candy. W10 only and XB1/PS4.
  • Support for high end devices and fully customizalble setups for Wheels and exotic hardware.
  • App for iPad or Android with dashboard, social and acces to customizing
  • Web site with rankings, events and dedicated sections for dev feedback.
  • Regular dev blogs and updates on development, progress and optional new stuff.
  • Better interaction with community and focus groups
  • Installation of closed beta and focus team for DLC and game play extentions. So everything gets tested properly before release.
  • Living game world with interactions everywhere.
  • More character customizing and ability to add mods for customizing.
  • Exclusive car collections
  • More and better barn finds and the option to buy more of them, once assembled
I used to have epic big request lists. Maybe i can dig up some. Or just create a new one here

Can you add in the island of Okinawa from the Ryukyu Islands? :)

I'd much rather prefer seein' it than the Isle of Man or reboots of previous islands that were already featured in the TDU franchise.

Also, if havin' a custom radio it would be nice to have a way to randomize the order of the musics you have on the playlist, havin' them always showin' up in the same order can get boring over time.

And don't forget the ability to actually play the game offline if you so desire.

There are many cool locations they can use for TDU3. I think they should stick to the roots of TDU with Oahu.
I mentioned Isle of Man as they already developed a bike game there. Smart using resources and experience might help there.

But other parts of the world are interesting as well. Like Japanese Islands for sure. But they are used many times in other games.

Dubai and Abu Dhabi were already in development for TDU2, when they were ditched in favor of Ibiza. The Al Jafeet road is there. Often regarded as the N-ring of the desert and specially created for driving pleasure of the local sport car owners.

An island with a wintery layout can be awesome as well. Just take a look at the recent FH3 expansion.

Many options to choose from.

When i say custom radio, i mean custom everything. Playlists and shuffle functions should be not too hard to implement. Including import of own tracks. I personally would make that an achievement in the game. Unlock more options as the game progresses.

Unfortunately i am not the creative director or boss of this project. But maybe i should have been ;)

And I think they should not, The first thought that came in my head when I first saw that idea was: "Oahu... Again, no!".

And that thought came in because I already cruised so many times all around that island... I would prefer somewhere else, a fresh new location. I guess Oahu could come in as a DLC but I definitely would not like to see it again in the main game, the same goes for Ibiza.

MadManCK wrote:I mentioned Isle of Man as they already developed a bike game there. Smart using resources and experience might help there.
Sure thing, it would indeed be very smart. But I just do not get interested in the Isle of Man as a setting for a future "Cruise simulator" game mainly because it just doesn't attract me and I think there are more interestin' places in the world that could be used for TDU3.

And of course I said all of this with all the knowledge I have of Isle of Man comin' from a Civilization V mod.

Which games exactly then? I don't recall ever seein' a massive open world game set in some Japanese island. :|

Yea, when you say it. But in every single game I've played that had some sort of custom radio implemented in they did not have a shuffle option, and this includes recent games too like Watch_Dogs 2, so I thought that had to be said.

I know that if TDU3 will be ever released it will be arcade driving game , but I'd like to see nice if there is for example some circuit or special races with more sim mode. There could be one car types "realistic", which were been much harder to drive than arcade models. I know that people will cry that they are too hard but still...

...and sorry my english, I hope that you understand what I try to say.

I would love to see a more realistic approach for the car handling. But good arcade can be fun as well.
Eden games made the base more sim like, believe it or not, but were forced to dumb it down as one of the Atari executives could not drive it. Worst mistake ever.

But a realistic driving model can be accompanied by different assist modes to please the arcade community.

It all depends who will make the base physics for the game.

Something functional for Lisa's Diners; Timed race meets every hour, and auctions, music, dancing, chat.
Because the only good social hangout in Tdu2 atm is Casino lobby and Poker.
