Beardroid91 wrote: Fri Sep 29, 2017 6:40 pm Why do people preorder it when we haven't had any Beta tests to test it out, i know i want to play it before it commit to anything.
even if it's like the current version i still will play it lol
so thats why i pre ordered it
Same here and I am liked so much TDU, TDU2 and The Crew so I wanted support the Crew2 even it wouldnt be as good as I am waiting. This is very cheap hobby when thinking spent money per hour.
yep, as soon as i can pre order tdu3 ill get that 1 too, same goes for speed elixir and any
others with a open world and sim racers worth having IMO like pc, ac and automobilista.
50/ 70 euro isnt a lot of money for me.
i spend a lot more on my one of a kind custom harley and my gf's harley amongst other things

I think I was hyped for Speed Elixir when I first heard about it, but I've lost all confidence in that game being that they haven't talked about it in almost a year. But The Crew 2 is definitely keeping my interest! I can't wait to hear about all of the changes they made and the full list of features they're including! That is, if they will actually tell us anything. It seems like they want to keep as quiet as possible so that expectations don't get too high.

The only 1 i didn't get was forza horizon 3 because the map is a epic fail.
8 minutes to go around the track? that's smaller then my garden and a :snooty:
That game was way to overhyped and was more of a "but... but... It's forza... it's the australian crew..." overhyped thing.
And in the demo i didn't like the handling very much so i forgot about it :shifty:

I was extremely excited about Speed Elixir, i mean freeroam in full blown sim mode sounds like epic fun to me. :2thumbsup:
But then they kinda went dark, without as much as a whisper... so that was disapointing.
I still have hope they eventually will get it of the ground, but time will tell.
It's kind of like with Star Citizen i suppose (witch is strugling at the moment to fix bug's before version 3.0 comes out so you can land on planets and stuff  )
so for me it isn't a lost cause yet, it just blows goats to wait... and wait... "has a peek" and wait... and wait... :loll:

The Crew 2 might just be a smart marketed DLC packaged as a new game, with the same problems the current 1 has, but it has a lot going for it.
Like the map size beeing it's biggest (pun intended :loll: ) thing going for it.
In some way's i surely don't trust Ubisoft that much and i expect it to be a sorta DLC thing if im honest.
But i will play it... that much is sure :auto-car:

Ivory Tower has been around for 10 years?! :eeek:
Did they form the studio right after releasing the first TDU?

Yes, back than some of the core devs left Eden Games to start their own company. In fact they did create the tools, needed to make the open world of the Crew themselves in about 4 years. Building Crew1 took another 3 Years and now we are 3 years further. Pretty amazing, considering the time devs usually get to create and finish a game.

Some devs were still working on TDU2 and joined. In fact Fargus was the genius behind the open world of TDU. The Crew went a different direction. Personally i like the TDU vibe and feel better. Eden games had a golden team with Nadal, Jarniou and Beley.

But Crew1 is still a bugfest and i could not even get Crew2 going last playtest. So there will always be a tension between finishing a game for publication and quality control. Adding too much content will create an instable game. They really raised the bar once again.

With UbiSoft now fully backing this talented Studio, they really should focus on recreating the whole World, scaled, as a playground.
That is what i would do anyway. And release a continent once every 2 or 3 years.

don't bother, they are fucked, their mic is dead.... xD

So RIP stream

And their Discord admins are singling out people for bashing them about it, ask me how i know :loll: BlackLotus told me to leave

I really don't get why some people were foolish enough ot preorder this bugfest of a game, at this point i'm not sure i want to support this incompetent game studie with my money, this is just laughable..... everyone can stream something to Twitch, but no ... the French can't figure it out .... FFS amatures.

Yeah, this does not look too good for them. It's also not a good way to promote a new game! They can't even get a stream working!

I'm still tuning in though. I want to see some gameplay!

Edit: Well, it's been postponed, so I guess nevermind
