This NDA will never be lifted, even after the game has been launched :eeek:

I finally got it to work, found the forum as well.
Only thing i can confirm right now, is that Cactii can be destroyed and are not made of concrete anymore :loll:

I have some catching up to do with trial events etc.

Right now the game is as stable as a N-Kor Dictator. So that might take a while.

Just tell me one thing, are all cars rev limiter the same? because I saw on previous gameplays that 911 GT3, RX7 and KTM 450 have the rev limiter in the same way.
I mean if each car or bike has a slower or faster rev limiter like this KTM video

or this Aventador video for example (on 0:31 time does some rev limiter accelerations)

New test starts today and will last until Monday 27th Nov. Pretty cool to extend the second test. And i do hope to get some more playtime. I will do the default races, just to see how the game feels. Can't share anything due to NDA. But i'm excited to try Crew2 again

:2thumbsup:

I finally managed to get The Crew going today. Did a few of the standard races to get into the game. I stick to car races, both tarmac and off road for now. leave the boats and planes for another time.

Without going into detail (NDA) i can say this about it;
The overall sense of speed, feel and vibe of the game has improved a lot, in comparison to Crew 1.
Game runs smoothly already at 60fps in Ultra settings.

Diversity and quality of textures has improved also. It feels more like actually driving on real roads.
I do recognize some of the layout of the roads, but it has different visuals, so it feels like a completely new game.

Things like reflections, the way Ai traffic drives and the placement of guardrails (or the lack of them) have been improved a lot. This makes driving at night better. No more lame driving between the traffic. You need to avoid it and that makes sense.
Cars sound a lot better as well. And i think they handle well, although i can not really say much about that, using an X360 controller now. ;)

Also the "story", if there is any, is a lot less cheesy :D

And no more concrete Cactus

Reason why i probably could not get into the game earlier, was the native 4K resolution. Probably mandatory for the consoles now.

There will be another playtest, starting tomorrow. This time it is a Closed Alpha Test. So the game is progressing nicely now.

Wow, they are moving quickly! I wonder what is holding them back from releasing on the original schedule!
