I pushed the campaign up to turn 475, it's startin' to take forever for the game to process Putin's turn, it is time I ended the game; I must set my sights on new adventures. Here are the mini maps of the turns 425, 450 and 475.
And yes, the Islamic State is gone, all thanks to Vladmir Putin.
I like how I started this campaign with 63 civilizations and now I am endin' it with 20.
We'd have far less players if I actually had interest in takin' over all of the world, perhaps that's something for another campaign. I should start my next campaign soon®, I already know with which civilization I'll be playing as in this map, but I'm still debatin' on whether I should wait for a Nigeria mod to be released or not as there's one in the works.

I just can't stop laughing at just how many medium-big civilizations have fallen and yet Venice is still around in your game even with Hitler right next to them.

I already said this before, they're probably still around just because of their trade routes.
But Venice is no push over, they've got a bigger military than Tonga, a civilization with 3 cities, 2 of them with above 40 population.

Also, I'm quite surprised they never went after the Qin to get rid of that enclave in their territory.
They were around the 130 mark, and I had 112 or something like that. Maybe next time I play on a world map I'll change the global defines and only let cities be founded within 4 tiles or more from each other once we get to an specific era (the limit I currently play with is 2).
