Anyone who likes the old Roller Coaster Tycoon games will like this. I just bought it and learning how everything works. This is the true successor to the series developed by Frontier Development the original devs of the old series, the same developer of Elite Dangerous. This is not to be confused with Roller Coaster Tycoon World which was developed by Nvizzio and published by Atari, that game is poorly rated. So if you like a game like Cities Skylines, the older Sim Cities games, or the old Rollercoaster Tycoon series, you should like this.

So, let me get this straight; It is like Roller Coaster Tycoon, but not like Roller Coaster Tycoon?

Can be fun to create your own loops. I still have a couple of these original coaster games. Untouched for the most part. :P

Liking it so far. The graphics are nice, set at ultra with the 1070. You can select any park guest and use first person view to ride any ride or just walk around the park. There are a few bugs reported and I ran into one with scaling the text interface using a slider but there was a workaround already by editing the config xml file. Funny because there was a similar bug in Elite Dangerous at release.

You really have to like the building/management genre to get into a game like this. I do and prefer to shooters and driving games. Was playing Cities Skylines along with my go to game of Guild Wars 2 but will be playing this for a while now. Fallout 4 had building settlements but I felt that to be more of a side goal than running around the wasteland following story lines.

Very cool so far. First person view on the rides is awesome. There is a ride called The Kraken in a scenario where the car goes underground so I decided to ride it using first person view and it all works. Lighting, tentacles, and you can turn your head and look at everything. There will be lots of Steam users creating content for this game I'm sure. Be interesting to see what kind of rides they come up with.

I watched a live stream of the game on twitch TV today for two hours :eeek: the game has a lot of depth and some good design features.

At the moment I'm playing a lot of Rimworld but when I get tired of it this might be the game I move on to. :D
