they are not ready.

when they are able to take a fully modded Skyrim and adapt it for massive multiplayer, then they will be ready.

for now we are stuck in a single player world.
I agree, I've also heard talk of a subscription system that could be implemented.
I don't know if it will be a pay to play or a pay for upgrades system but ether way if it's true then I very much doubt that I'll be playing this game on release. :(

So now that the NDA has lifted LINK who's been playing the beta and what do you think of the game.
I've only participated in a small part of the beta mainly because I just haven't had the time to play it, but what little I have played hasn't really excited me. :(
To start with I'm not a big fan of this type of game ( I much prefer the single player option games like Oblivion, Skyrim, etc.) although I did play quite a bit of Guild Wars when it first came out, but even the it was the single player part of the game.
I'm not saying I wont be getting this when it comes out just don't know if I will stick with it. :?

Correct me if I am wrong, the online part of the game will only be held at the province of Cyrodil and at some public dungeons scattered around the continent, there's still a massive world to explore on single player. The developers also said they were going to release more explorable areas after launch, such as Helghate and Alinor.

I actually plan to get this game because of the massive open world, not because of the online features.

ZeniMax announce that this game will cost $15 a month subscription to play, that's on top of the price to buy the game in the first place.
This is a big disappointment to me and I will probably not be getting it on release. :(

Yes, Grumpy told me something similar. About 10 Euro/Pounds a month is rather steep TBH.

Maybe skip the WoW/Elder Scrolls combo and wait for the Skyrim sucessor. Even if it can be fun to play.

And you can bet you will need DLC to stay competitive as well. :eeek:

There goes my hopes of owning/playing this game. :( Monthly subscription games are a rip-off :handgestures-thumbdown:

They have been quoted as saying new content will be added every 6 week or so to justify the monthly fee but it's still way to much a month in my opinion.

I already have one, but I won't be getting this game when it comes out, I don't like this thing of monthly subscription, thanks anyway.
