Short resume of the progress so farBezrider wrote:Let me know how it goes
Note, i have chosen 2K versions of textures wherever i could. More is overkill IMO and a known FPS killer.
I skipped the parallax stuff as i don't really dig it, stones that turn into your direction. It gives some depth effect but can look weird at the same time.
Some optional mods are unavailable ATM, but i managed to grab most of them.
Time spent to download and re-download the acquired and most optional Mods: 5 hours and 30 minutes
Time to unpack and select files and folders: 2 hours and 30 minutes
Time to make the batch file: 10 minutes
Time to make a compressed file in the Mod Manager Map with 7Zip: 30 minutes
Time to install the Combined Mod with Nexus Mod Manager: 10 minutes
Working Map size: 16,7 Gigabyte
Combined File size: 8.7 Gigabyte
Compressed File Size: 4.9 Gigabyte
Number of files: 6700, lol
Total time before launch: Almost 9 hours
First impression: Skyrim Boots without an issue. Everything looks well integrated and there is a clear improvement of the overall appearance of the game in comparison to the more or less vanilla game i left behind after uninstalling all previously installed texture packs and mods.
In one word awesome.
Some slight FPS drops in Dawnstar in heavy weather, where i made my save in the Inn before installing this mod.
But remember i do run the game in Ultra settings on a GTX670 mini and Core i5 2500K from my HTPC at 1080p.
Awesome project and if you can find the time, most surely worth the effort.
