Skywind will come to Skyrim.

It was supposed to be released summer last year. But obviously as made with volunteers, you cant push deadlines.
I have played some earlier versions and they were already very advanced in progress, but lacked the content of a full mod/gameworld.

This will be another must have mod that will revive Morrowind within the Skyrim engine.

That's a cool project, but it will take forever before it is done as it is made by volunteers - but that only makes it a cooler project.

But is it a stand alone game or just a mod / DLC for Skyrim ?

It is a recreation of Morrowind for Skyrim. So it is a Mod. But of DLC proportions.

There are a few really good new location Mods around right now.

Wyrmstooth
Faalskaar

Both are well made and are a cool (DLC like) extention to Skyrim. Skywind will probably raise the bar even more.

Skyrim will get an enhanced version and will also come to the PS4 and XB1. Including mods.
Skip to 3.10+ for the Skyrim stuff. :2thumbsup:

Cool stuff for Skyrim, but isn't it abit to late to make a big difference as most people have moved on.

Who has? Most still play and use mods to improve their game. This is one of the most succesful games ever and still has a large active community. And bringing it to the new Consoles is a smart move. :twocents-02cents:

PS The upgrade is free if you have the legendary edition or all DLC.

Enhanced version of Skyrim is very nice and all that and this is an epic game (one of my all time favourites) but I don't think it will be much different from what you can achieve with mods. :)
