I recently bought an old G25 wheel and as a bonus it came with a Playseat racing rig (not the best but will do the job  )

I bought this because i wanted to get back to playing more TDU2 again but my Thrustmaster TX wheel is not compatible :(

Unfortunately the game still has a lot of down time and was just recently off-line for three weeks (if my source is correct) the servers did come back up for a wile but when i last checked they where down again this makes playing the game very frustrating and so far i have had to do all of my play time off-line. :(

I cant help thinking this attitude to the servers cannot be helping the promotion of TDU3 if it is in development and even though BigBen dont have anything to do with TDU2 and the servers i know if i made a deal with Atari to buy the rights for the TDU franchise i would certainly bring up the point about keeping TDU2 alive as the next game gets developed as it is important to keeping the franchise alive.
(But then again we are dealing with Atari  )
:twocents-02cents:

Despite not getting on-line i am still enjoying the game and doing some of the old races again (and the driving tests  ) but i am missing the online interaction :(

Looks cool. A seat/wheel combo is one of the best ways to play racing games.
Feels more natural than sliding around in your desk chair.

I had a G25 for a very long time. 4Y or more. Those wheels are almost indestructable. Even if they do not feel like it. But support in TDU2 for it is native. No real FFB though, so you must add some centering force in the profiler.

The upside on TDU2 is the amount of mods available. But i would stick to the TDU2-UP and do no car swaps.
The Miami Pink Mustangs will still appear when using mods. So the Uni-luancher is also needed.

You might want to try TDU1 as well. Runs from private servers now.

What we really need is TDU3, that incorporates all the goods from 1 and 2, with some next gen graphics and 12 player crews.

Here are the keys to yur new ride

Considering it is an old wheel it still seems to work very well, and i agree using a seat is way better that sitting up in a chair.

I have used TDU2UP in the past but am just running the game at stock for now. ;)

After that first post i fired the game up and managed to get online for the first time after two days of trying
I still have some of the higher race challenges to finish, just never got around to doing them at the time (to busy messing about :P ) so had a few races with the wilder brothers and kick some arse (my driving must of improved  )

I'm looking forward to completing the rest or the races (if i don't get distracted again  ) and maybe dropping in at the casino. :smoking:

Nice seat. Nice to have something like that, I hate dragging out the wheel to play for a few hours only to put it back. I ran across my TDU2 disk when looking for something in the basement, it is packed in a box with other PC stuff. Did not know servers were still online. Maybe I should install and try on big screen with a controller. In one of my back ups I know I have my game files I saved. All those different colored Ferrari sitting in garages.

Think i will try to get on in the next few days but it is hit and miss with the servers these days.

I've been playing a ton of TDU2 recently as well, mostly to do more painting. Sadly, the servers were down on the Xbox 360 as well. I really hope that TDU3 can deliver the same feel that the old ones did!
