I prefer the original one on which this next-gen automobile is based on,

The Mercedes Benz 300SL Gullwing ;)

Noone would probably know, that there's an actual AMG version of the Gullwin,

I didn't know that :o

What year did AMG do this? It obviously wasn't done in the 1950's ;)

I'm not sure. I remember getting a heads-up from my former employer, Isdera, back in 2009 about their involvement regarding this car with AMG. I can't say much about it, due to regulations and inductive secrecy regarding my former contract which lasts up to 10 years after, but they did 'something' on the inside of the car.

Nice this has actually made me go from liking the sls to making me want to buy it haha. Shame i cant afford it! lol

Fun fact: I heard that they removed the exploding hinges to save weight...just hope you don't roll one ;)

Not a huge fan of it.

I dont like all the carbon fibre bits on it, they look out of place on that car. Its too "Wow, look at me!" in my opinion.

I have to agree with driiven. I love the SLS and its on my top 5 favorite cars, but this is too much. It ruins the car, makes it look like Mansory got a hold of it
