The Honda S660 has been spotted in production guise at a port in Japan, prior to hitting dealerships in the nearby future.
Honda previewed a new kei car back in November 2013 through a namesake concept which debuted at the Tokyo Motor Show and now the concept has evolved into a production car. The good news is Honda has managed to retain most of the concept's design, but with slightly toned down lighting clusters, smaller wheels and a more down to earth interior cabin.
The Japan-only S660 will act like a spiritual successor of the Honda Beat and will be 3395mm long, 1475mm wide and 1180mm tall. Power comes from a 3-cylinder 660cc turbo engine developing 64 HP and 77 lb-ft of torque which allows the petite roadster hit a top speed of 140 km/h. It weighs 830 kg and will be available with a standard 6-speed manual gearbox or an optional CVT.
