New ATS owner Piero Jacometti is ready to put this rather stunning concept into a limited production series of 30 cars next year at the former Bugatti factory in Campogalliano where the EB110 was made. The fresh and rather appealing styling represents the work of Centro Stile di Torino Design led by Giuliano Biasio.
The interesting exterior design is matched with an equally appealing hardware setup as the Wild Twelve uses a V12 3.8-liter twin-turbo engine working together with two electric motors to provide a combined output of 860 PS (632 kW) and 678 lb-ft (918 Nm) sent to the wheels through a nine-speed automatic transmission. The conventional engine powers the rear axle while the electric motors are driving the front axle to enable an all-wheel drive layout.
It should be enough muscle to grant a 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) run in 2.6 seconds and a 0-124 mph (0-200 km/h) sprint in 6.2 seconds before topping out at 242 mph (390 km/h). The on-board lithium-ion battery pack will enable the Wild Twelve concept to run on electric power for as much as 19 miles (30 km).
There's no word about the price tag, but given these specs and looks, surely it won't be affordable.

The Design study looks far more attractive than the model shown there.
The combination of a V12 turbo and some electric power on the front is a good idea. But they need to make the car to stand out more. Doesn't appeal much now.

This looks awesome, but I don't have much hope of it getting past the prototype stage.
RUF is better than Porsche!
