Avatar Sports Cars is a track & race division of Marlin Cars, a British sports car manufacturer founded in 1979 in Plymouth as Marlin Engineering and now located in Crediton, DevonShire England. Making its debut at The Performance Car Show 2016, the Roadster 250 is Avatar's hope to join Britain's best track-day car makers.

In standard guise, power for the Avatar Roadster comes through a 2.0-liter Ford engine located behind the driver. That engine will be coupled with the five-speed gearbox of the Porsche Boxster driving the rear wheels through a Quaife LSD. That engine delivers 250 hp and when combined with a mere 695 kg kerb weight. Underpinning the Avatar Roadster is a tubular spaceframe chassis manufactured by Marlin Sports Cars and to reduce weight further, all the body panels are made from lightweight composite materials.

Avatar claims to have already received four orders for the Roadster and is hoping to deliver the first models in May 2016.

When I first saw the teasers of this car I thought it was going to be based on that Ultima kit car, I'm glad it is not but it still looks ugly...
