Mitsubishi HSR '87
The Mitsubishi HSR (Highly Sophisticated-transport Research) is a range of concept cars exhibited by Mitsubishi Motors through the late 1980s and 1990s. There were six distinct iterations of the vehicle released biannually to coincide with the Tokyo Motor Show, with each model after the original identified by a Roman numeral suffixed to the name.
The first vehicle was a showcase for Mitsubishi’s integrated electronic systems offering automatic control of drive train, suspension, steering, brakes, and driving position according to driving conditions or weather. It was powered by a 2.0 L 16v turbocharged engine producing 295 hp, had a maximum speed claimed by the factory at 300 km/h.

At least it seems that he's improvin' his posts, with what I said earlier, hp instead of BHP, km/h instead of mph.
*sigh* I have no idea who the heck he is.

I don't really like it putting aside all of the radicalness,
I somehow just don't see it in a game (that is not insane).
So you're finally makin' posts dedicated to cars again...sw3gameboy wrote:KTM X-Bow R '11

Moskvitch G5 Prototype '65
The Moskvitch G5 was a Formula One car from Moskvitch released in 1965. It was to be fitted with an engine called GD-1, an eight-cylinder 1500cc DOHC engine giving 200 hp at 10,500 rpm. Already during the first test the engine produced 162 hp at 6000 rpm. The engine was fitted with four dual Weber carburettors and the total weight was 158 kg.
The G5 was also the first Russian car with disk brakes on all wheels. The fibreglass body was designed using a wind tunnel. However, funding was cut so the car had to be fitted with an inline-4 engine from the Moskvitch 412, but fitted with a new DOHC head and two twin Weber 40DCO carburetors. This engine produced 100 hp. Modifications in 1970 raised the power to 112 hp. Displacement was increased to 1840cc in 1972, and to 1948cc (now producing 140 hp) in 1974. A fiberglass body was also added in 1974, and the cars were redesignated as G5M. The G5M was raced until 1976.
Curb Weight: 580 kg
Max Power: 200 hp (prototype)

I was btw considering if I wanted to return with a VW New Beetle RSi (since my first post dedicated to cars was a Golf) or not, but in the end I decided to take the X-Bow since apparently a post on that car didn't exist then...

Stola Dedica '96
Stola is a little known Italian company, initially founded in 1920, which carries out confidential work for many manufacturers worldwide. With over 2,250 employee's and secondary operations in Brazil and India, Stola, which first started assisting Lancia with the development of the historic Lambda, counts Fiat as its major customer.
In 1995 Stola decided to create a fully working dream car prototype to raise the company's profile. The Dedica was built on the Fiat Barchetta's chassis (which Stola had helped develop) and made its debut at the 1996 Turin Motor Show. It was designed by Pininfarina designer Aldo Brovarone, a close friend of Stola's managing-director Alfredo Stola.
The Barchetta's engine was replaced with the 262 hp turbo charged 2.0-litre 4-cyl unit sourced from the Lancia Thema. Overall, the light 1020 kg weight of the car allowed Dedica to achieve a 270 km/h max speed and the 0-100 km/h dash in 5.8 seconds.
The interior was overhauled and fitted with Momo-sourced seats, steering wheel, gearknob and pedals. The front screen was replaced with a low Plexiglass wrap-round panel, while side windows were dispensed with. The car is a pure roadster, no roof or elements protection were factored in.
