Maserati 5000 GT '60
Maserati 5000 GT '60.jpg
Maserati 5000 GT (1959–1965) were thirty-two 2-door coupé automobiles, made by Maserati of Italy.

The first car in the Tipo 103 series, was the Shah of Persia, delivered to Mohammad Reza Pahlavi, who had been impressed by the Maserati 3500. He commissioned Maserati's chief engineer Giulio Alfieri to utilize a slightly modified 5-litre engine from the Maserati 450S on the 3500 GT's chassis.Carrozzeria Touring developed the superleggera tubing and aluminum body of the two-seater coupe. The second car, also by Touring, was displayed at Salone dell'automobile di Torino 1959.

Specifications for the first 5000 GT were:
Maserati 450S-derived V8 cylinder, four-OHC, 4937.8 cc,
Lucas mechanical injection or four 45 DCOE Weber carburetor (325 hp at 5500 rpm),
mechanical Magneti-Marelli ignition, dual spark plugs and dual fuel pump
4-speed ZF (later 5-speed)
Front discs, rear drums (later all-discs)

In 1960 the engine got some modifications: received a displacement of 4940 cc with a bigger stroke and a smaller bore and were fuel injected; in the new configuration engine developed 340 hp. After the first body by Touring, the main body partner since 1960 became Carrozzeria Allemano which did 22 of the cars, designed by Giovanni Michelotti.

Other builders were Pietro Frua (3), Carrozzeria Monterosa (2), Pininfarina (1), Ghia (Sergio Sartorelli) (1), Giovanni Michelotti (1), Bertone (Giorgetto Giugiaro) (1) and Carrozzeria Touring (2 more).

The frame, designed and built by Ilario Bandini, is a development based on experiences gathered by the first motor car rear built. The 1000/66 is the car with which it is metabolized and exploited change happened with the1000 P, 1962 in this vein is considered the change in the distribution of weights and geometry of suspensions that resulted in new mergers of portamozzi.

Vector M12 '95
Vector M12 '99.jpg
The Vector M12 was a vehicle designed by parent company Megatech LTD the Vector Motors Corporation, and was the first vehicle produced after the hostile takeover of the company from Jerry Wiegert by the Indonesian company Megatech. The model was produced from 1995 to 1999, when production was halted, partly due to slow sales of the cars and mismanagement of the company. The average price of the vehicle was $184,000 (USD).

The vehicle was a rebodied Lamborghini Diablo with a chopper gun fiberglass body set on a lengthened Diablo chassis. It was a loose copy of the Vector AWX-3, which was not released due to the Megatech hostile takeover. The drivetrain was a 5707 cc Lamborghini V12 engine, which produced 492 hp and 425 lb·ft (576 N·m) of torque at 5200 rpm. This differed from the V8 in the W8 and the AWX-3, which Vector claimed to produce 1,200 hp in twin-turbo form (and 850 hp when naturally aspirated). The W8 and AWX-3's engines were transversely mounted, unlike the M12's V12. The engineering changes placed the cockpit slightly further forward than in the AWX-3, with a shorter nose and longer tail. The M12 was able to accelerate from zero to 100 km/h in 4.8 seconds and had a top speed of 305 km/h.

The M12 production run ended in 1999 when Vector could not pay Lamborghini for the engines. Lamborghini took a W8 as payment, but Wiegert litigated for ownership of that car. An M12 unit would later be modified into the SRV8 model, but the Vector company did not survive.
