Jaguar XK180 '99
Jaguar XK180 '99.jpg
The Jaguar XK 180 was a concept car created by the British car manufacturer Jaguar Cars to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the XK car and to show the world the skills of Jaguar stylists, craftsmen and engineers. It was presented at Paris Motor Show in 1999.

It had a 4.2 litre supercharged V8 engine with four valves per cylinder, developing 450 hp and 445 Ft-Lbs (605Nm) of torque. Its transmission was a five-speed automatic gearbox with rear wheel drive. Seating capacity was two. The top speed was 290 km/h and the time to accelerate from standstill to 100km/h was 4.5 seconds.

The handling pack used in this car was Computer Active Technology Suspension (CATS) which was also used on the Jaguar XK-R. These enhancements include revised electronic control unit settings and revised damper settings for taut, dynamic handling as well as uprated springs and anti-roll bars for increased roll stiffness. The pack also includes a retuned variable ratio, speed-sensitive steering system.

The XK180 suspension is based on that of the XKR, with racing-style aluminum shock absorbers incorporated in the coil spring/damper units. The suspension was developed with assistance from ride and handling experts at Jaguars Engineering Centre in Whitley.

Brakes were Brembo,14.001 in | 355.6 mm in the front and 12.001 in | 304.8 mm in the rear.

The wheels of the car were made by BBS, fitted with Pirelli Pzero tyres, 265/35 ZR2O Pzero Direzionale at the front and 285/30 ZR2O Pzero Asimmetrico at the rear. The rims were nine inches wide x 20 inches in diameter (front) and 10 inches wide x 20 inches in diameter (rear). The first car built in 1998, was fitted with BBS Paris wheels, while the second (LHD, 1999) car had the Detroit BBS wheels.

Alfa Romeo Giulia TZ '63
Alfa Romeo Giulia TZ '63.jpg
The Alfa Romeo Giulia TZ (also known as the Alfa Romeo TZ or Tubolare Zagato) was a small sports car manufactured byAlfa Romeo from 1963 to 1967. It replaced the Giulietta SZ.

The original TZ, currently sometimes referenced as TZ1 to differ from later TZ2, was developed in together with Autodelta, a company led by Ex-Ferrari engineer Carlo Chiti. It featured a 1,570 cc twin cam engine and other mechanical components shared with theAlfa Romeo Giulia and carried a 105 series chassis number, but was a purpose builtsports racing car, with a tubular spaceframe chassis, light all-aluminium bodywork, disc brakes and independent suspension. The result was a lightweight coupé of only 650 kilograms (1,430 lb) and top speed of 216 km/h. The TZ was built both for street and racing trim, with the latest racing versions producing up to 160 hp. Alfa's twin-spark cylinder head, as also used in the GTA, contributed to the speed of the TZ; the standard Giulia alloy block with wet steel liners was installed at an angle under the hood of the TZ to improve airflow.

Aiding the TZ in its quest for performance was the treatment of the rear bodywork. Incorporating the research of Dr. Wunibald Kamm, the TZ used a style called "coda tronca" in Italian, meaning "short tail.", otherwise known as the Kamm tail. The principle is that unless you are willing to incorporate an aircraft-like extended tail (not practical for an automobile), there is surprisingly little, if any, increase in drag and a marked decrease in lift or even some downforce by simply chopping off a portion of the tail. Zagato had previously proved the success of this tail treatment in their "coda tronca" Sprint Zagato sports-racing cars, and it was a natural evolution to adapt this to the Giulia TZ.

The car debuted at the 1963 FISA Monza Cup, where TZs took the first four places in the prototype category. At the beginning of 1964 the TZ was homologated (100 units were needed for homologation) to the Gran Turismo category. After homologation it started to take more class wins in Europe and North-America. Of the first TZ, 112 units were built between 1963 and 1965. Only built as limited amount these TZ models are quite collectibles nowadays, listed price around 150,000-200,000 US dollars.

That Jaguar looks incredible. It's a pity they didn't put it into production. :(

And that Alfa, well, the TZ2 is already a small car, i can't even imagine the dimensions of the original TZ.
RUF is better than Porsche!

Magnum MK5 '14
Magnum MK5 '14.jpg
When many people hear "an all-new Magnum," they think of a new and mighty delicious ice cream bar, but this certainly isn’t an ice cream bar.

This racer clearly has its sites set on the BAC Mono , KTM X-Bow , Ariel Atom and the VUHL 05 , and it features elements inspired by the Formula 1 and Le Mans prototypes. Like its aforementioned competitors, the MK5 is a lightweight, rear-wheel-drive, two-seat racer built on the company’s passion for motorsport. It is the brainchild Bruno St-Jacques — the son of Jean-Pierre St-Jacques who founded of the Magnum cars company back in the 1960s. The MK5 was built from passion to racing because Bruno is a well-rounded and successful racecar driver, and the MK5 was built as his dream machine.

The first Canadian track car features a bold and innovative exterior look, but it is also aggressive and sporty enough to give you whiplash as you try to spin your head fast enough to see it zip by. It features functional aerodynamics inspired by the Formula 1 cars and LeMans Prototypes, it is made from light and strong carbon-fiber composite bodywork.
Magnum designed the MK5 with modularity in mind, so the repair costs are reduced because you can easily remove each part for repair or replacement.

Magnum built the MK5 with an open cockpit "speedster" style, and made the cargo compartment big enough to accommodate two race helmets and a briefcase. The various levers in the cabin are made from aluminum; the digital gauges are easy to read and backlit, and a removable suede-wrapped steering wheel gives you a comfortable grip while you toss the MK5 through the twist.

Powering the new Mk5 is a mid-mounted, four-cylinder engine that delivers a total of 250 horsepower at 11,000 rpm. The engine is mated to a six-speed, sequential gearbox that allows for lightning-fast shifts, up and down.

This efficient drivetrain allows the MK5 to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.2 seconds and up to a top speed of 240 km/h.

But luckily some aftermarket companies offers a conversion kit to some Jaguar models to turn into replicas.

Beautiful it certainly isn't.
Lol, I gotta agree with you two. Maybe the hood is what makes it ugly, it's too plain.

Aston Martin DB7 Zagato '02
Aston Martin DB7 Zagato '02.jpg
The Aston Martin DB7 Zagato was born during a meeting between Elio’s son Andrea Zagato, and Ulrich Bez, CEO of Aston Martin Lagonda Ltd., in Pebble Beach Concours of Elegance 2001. The idea was to relaunch the collaboration between the two companies.

Four months later (January 2002), Zagato presented to Ulrich Bez and Henrich Fisker his first sketches of the car and obtained the approval during the Geneva Motorshow (March 2002).

The Aston Martin DB7 Vantage Zagato is a limited-edition grand tourer, Only 99 examples were sold to the public, though one extra was produced for the Aston Martin museum. Like the DB7 Vantage on which it is based, the Zagato is powered by a 6.0 L V12 engine with additional 20 hp, and controlled via a 6-speed manual transmission. It has a top speed of 299 km/h and a 0–100 km/h acceleration time of 4.9 seconds. Unlike the later DB AR1, the Zagato is built on a shortened chassis.
