Nismo GT-R LM '95
This street-legal Nismo GT-R LM is one rare bird: When Nismo decided to compete in the GT category of the famed 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1995, the rules for the class stipulated that at least one road-worthy example must be built of a given model, thus a single, ultra-wide-bodied GT-R LM was built and registered in the United Kingdom. Perhaps just as astounding, while the production Skyline GT-R had long featured all-wheel drive, this sole homologation special featured rear-wheel drive only, just like the Le Mans competition cars.
Apart from its outlandishly-styled exterior and reconfigured drive system, this road-going Nismo GT-R LM is surprisingly docile in just about every other area. The RB26DETT-designated engine produced 300 HP, on a par with the standard production car unit, even the interior remained nearly unchanged. But the bodywork was a different story: All four fenders were widened by 1.9 inches to accommodate wider tires for improved grip, and hood vents and a wide-mouth front clip allowed for more efficient removal of hot air from the engine compartment.
As for the car's competition brethren, the GT-R entered into the GT class of the 1995 and 1996 editions of the French endurance classic encountered mixed results, the 443 HP madden effort finishing a respectable 5th in class, with the vastly more potent 621 HP car landing 10th in class the following year.

This would be my favourite GT-R in Gran Turismo 6 if it was a premium, good choice.

Chaparral 2D '67
Chaparral Cars was an American automobile racing team which built race cars from 1963 through 1970. Named after a fast-running ground cuckoo that is commonly known as a chaparral or a roadrunner, it was founded in 1962 by Formula One racer Hap Sharp and Jim Hall, a Texas oil magnate with both engineering and race car driving skills.
The 2D was the first closed cockpit variant of the 2 series, designed for endurance racing in 1966. For 1966 the USSRC was replaced by the all new Can-Am Challenge series, which attracted a lot more European attention. For the FIA mandated races Chaparral developed the fiberglass 2A into the fixed-head 2D, which scored the company's first European victory in the Nürburgring 1000 km race. The aluminium 2C chassis was used as a basis for the open 2E Can-Am racer.
The Chaparral 2D was equipped with a 327 cubic inch displacement (5.3 liter) Aluminum Alloy Chevrolet engine producing 420 horsepower, and the car weighed only 924 kg.

Well, I can't surely tell you if it is but it got a horn in Gran Turismo 5 & 6, no other race car got one, so, perhaps yes, perhaps not.TheLuigi907 wrote:I heard it from someone that the Chaparral 2D is a road-legal vehicle, is it true?

Subaru BRZ Concept STi '13
The 86 is a series of grand tourer sports coupés jointly developed by Toyota and Subaru and solely manufactured by the latter. It features a boxer engine, front-engine, rear-wheel-drive layout and 2+2 seating. The 86 is sold under three different brands with respective model names: Toyota 86, Subaru BRZ, Scion FR-S.
The name 86 (pronounced "eight-six" or Hachi-Roku (ハチロク) in Japanese, but more commonly pronounced as "eighty-six") leverages the AE86 generation of rear-wheel drive sports coupes and hatchbacks sold as the Toyota Sprinter Trueno and Toyota Corolla Levin from 1983 to 1987. The 86 has been marketed as the spiritual successor to these cars, referencing a heritage tracing back to the 1967 Toyota 2000GT (a front-engined, rear-drive sports car with a 2.0 litre engine whose design cues adorn the 86) and the 1965 Toyota Sports 800, Toyota's first sports car (which also had a boxer engine).
The BRZ's name comes from three elements: Boxer engine, Rear-wheel drive, and Z standing for the zenith. The Subaru BRZ differs from the 86's design in the front fascia, with a different grill and headlight assembly, as well as a different front fender vent.
In 2013, Subaru unveiled a BRZ tS model for the Japanese market, tuned by STi. Under the hood, there’s a 2.0-liter naturally-aspirated four-cylinder boxer engine which was designed with a square bore and stroke of 86 X 86 mm. Nothing has been said about the vehicle’s final output, but previous rumors suggested that the STI version would deliver up to 300 HP. It was also rumored that the BRZ would come with a very low center of gravity and optimal weight distribution. These rumors turned out to be 100% correct with the Subaru BRZ STI engine sitting lower than in any other Subaru model - 4.7 inches lower - and positioned 9.4 inches closer to the center of the chassis.

Peugeot RCZ R '13
The Peugeot RCZ is a coupé manufactured by the French car company Peugeot. It was launched in April 2010 and is available in almost 80 countries as of 2013 (except the US). It was officially introduced at the Frankfurt Auto Show in 2009 and was initially announced as the 308 RCZ concept car at the 2007 Frankfurt show. It is assembled by Magna Steyr, a subsidiary of Magna International. Petrol engines are based on Prince platform while diesel is part of the HDi project. RCZ was developed under code name "T75".
The Peugeot RCZ got many international awards like five successive times 'Best Sports Car' by Diesel Car magazine or the Top Gear '2010 Coupe of the Year award'.
In November 2012, Peugeot announced their intention of building a more powerful, performance oriented RCZ. In July 2013, the first official pictures of the car were released. With its new turbo engine, the new RCZ R is the most powerful road-going car in Peugeot’s extensive history. It comes equipped with lots of elements developed by Peugeot Sport and with an interior inspired by the aviation.
The RCZ R version features a more aggressive design language, thanks to a perfectly integrated large fixed rear spoiler and a specific rear diffuser that hides the two chromed pipes of the exhaust systems. Buyers can order the model in four exterior colors: Moroccan Red, Nera Black, Mercury Grey and Opal White combined with a matte black roof and black mirror shells. A special "R" letter in red graces the the grille and the trunk lid to alert other drivers that this RCZ means business.
Under the hood, Peugeot placed a 1.6-liter THP turbo engine that delivers a total of 270 horsepower at 6,000 rpm and a peak torque of 243 pound-feet delivered from 1,900 to 5,500 rpm. The new engine hooks up to a steel exhaust manifold with unique architecture that takes its inspiration from racing systems to ensure a sweet exhaust note sound.
The RCZ R sprints from 0 to 100 km/h in just 5.9 seconds and hits a top speed of 250 km/h; all these while delivering a fuel economy of 37.3 mpg the combined cycle.

Dauer EB110 Supersport '98
The Bugatti EB110 is a mid-engine sports car from Bugatti Automobili SpA. It was unveiled on September 15, 1991, in both Versailles and in front of the Grande Arche at La Défense in Paris, exactly 110 years after Ettore Bugatti's birth.
Dauer Sportwagen in Nuremberg, Germany, bought the remaining stock of EB110 parts from the Bugatti factory. A complete spare parts catalogue, with exploded diagrams and part numbers is now available from Dauer Sportwagen. The company has used the few remaining incomplete chassis to produce the limited edition Dauer EB110.
The revised car weighs 440 kg less than the 1,920 kg of the original US-spec Bugatti. The European version weighed 1,880 kg, but the Dauer car weighs only 1,480 kg, despite adopting the longer US-style bumpers, which protect the car better. The crash beams behind the bumper skins are also made from carbon fibre.
The Bugatti engine is a 3.5-liter, quad-cam, five-valves-per-cylinder, 60-degree V12 with four IHI turbos. The Dauer engine is rated at 865 hp at 8,250 rpm, a boost of 305 hp from the GT and 262 hp from the SS. The four-wheel-drive car can reach 100 km/h in just 3.35 seconds, achieve a standing kilometer in under 19 seconds and has an estimated maximum speed of 370 km/h, some 11 km/h faster than the original. The company Dauer Sportwagen went bankrupt in 2008. All original Bugatti parts especially the high performance parts of the EB110SS and the equipment were bought in 2011 by the company Toscana-Motors GmbH (Kaiserslautern/Germany).

I'm going to buy a 2D and use that as an excuse for driving it in street cars only cruise lobbies.Tsukishima wrote:Well, I can't surely tell you if it is but it got a horn in Gran Turismo 5 & 6, no other race car got one, so, perhaps yes, perhaps not.TheLuigi907 wrote:I heard it from someone that the Chaparral 2D is a road-legal vehicle, is it true?
The only problem is getting the money for one.
