Bentley Continental GTZ '08
Bentley Continental GTZ '08.jpg
At the 78th Geneva International Motor show 2008, Zagato Atelier takes great pleasure in introducing the Bentley GTZ, the latest in a long line of collaborations with the very best British car manufacturers over the Milanese Atelier 's 89 years history.

Following on from the recent presentations of the Ferrari 575GTZ in 2006 and the Maserati GS Zagato at the Villa D'Este in 2007, the Bentley GTZ is a neo-classic Zagato interpretation of the style of a British GT.

The project was conceived during a discussion between Dr. Ing. Franz Josef Paefgen, CEO of Bentley Motors Limited and Dr. Andrea Zagato, President of Zagato at the Pebble Beach Concours D'Elegance in 2006. At a 'Tribute to Zagato' presentation, Zagato showed a selection of 50' 60's models, near by the recent berlinettas presented during the last 3 years. Dr. Paefgen was struck by the beauty of those cars and reminded of the historical significance of the art of the Carrozzeria (coachbuilders) which was both being maintained and carried forward by Zagato.

Starting from the styling cues of the last neo classical coupes, which became milestones of Zagato design in the new millennium, the challenge was to apply the same design language to a completely different proportion of vehicle: the Bentley Continental GT Speed.

Even with many technical restrictions and carry-over parts in order to maintain the basic functions of this extremely sophisticated vehicle, the Zagato design team managed to give a distinctive and attractive character to the Zagato coupe.

Pronounced fender lines, double-bubble roof, round tail with all new rear combination lamp are harmoniously integrated in to an imposing body adding a more aggressive and sharp feeling without losing the absolute solidity which is part of the great charm of the original coupe. The same time the hand painted pin-stripe coordinated with the interior colour adds a refined and exclusive elegance to the extrovert body lines helps to make the look of this car appropriate to be special limited-production model born between two great automotive cultures: Bentley and Zagato.

Veyrat 630 '90
Veyrat 630 '90.jpg
First shown in 1990 with a view to production in 1991, the Veyrat 630 was an open mid-engined two seater with styling following the prototype Pininfarina Mythos. Its construction followed contemporary competition car practice, with fully rose-jointed double wishbone and coil spring independent suspension all round, and a body combining aluminum and carbon-fibre. Power came from a standard 200 hp 3-litre Alfa Romeo V6 engine, and since the prototype weighed only 848 kg, acceleration was claimed to be electrifying. One day, perhaps, scholars may be able to probe the depths of such words and we may all gain as a result.

I could give more information, but I don't know French. https://boitierrouge.wordpress.com/2014 ... francaise/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Good luck finding someone to translate that.

Remove the stupid complaints about the mod team from your sig. One warning should be enough.

Lamborghini Gallardo '03
Lamborghini Gallardo '03.jpg
The Lamborghini Gallardo (/ɡaɪˈjɑrdoʊ/; Italian: [ɡaʎˈʎardo]) is a sports car built by Lamborghini from 2003 to 2013. It is Lamborghini's best-selling model with 14,022 being built throughout its lifetime. Named after a famous breed of fighting bull, the V-10 Gallardo has been Lamborghini's sales leader and stable-mate to a succession of V-12 flagship models—first to the Lamborghini Murciélago (4,099 built between 2001 and 2011), then to the current flagship Lamborghini Aventador. On November 25, 2013, the last Gallardo was rolled off of the production line.

Production of the replacement for the Gallardo, the Huracán, began in 2014.

The first generation Gallardo came with a 5 litre 90 degree V10 (4961cc). The Gallardo offers two choices of transmissions, a conventional (H-Box) six-speed manual transmission, and an advanced six-speed electro-hydraulically controlled semi-automatic robotized manual, which Lamborghini abbreviates to "E-gear". The "E-gear" allows the driver to make shifts much faster than they could with a manual transmission. The driver shifts up and down via paddles behind the steering wheel, but can also change to an automatic mode. The vehicle was designed by Luc Donckerwolke and was based on the 1995 Calà prototype by Italdesign Giugiaro.

Ya did a good job with noticin' it was the first generation Gallardo that I wanted, it's much better than the facelifted one, although both look stunnin' personally, but I have my preferences. :P

Mosler MT900 GTR XX Twin Turbo '09
Mosler MT900 GTR XX Twin Turbo '09.jpg
Most people know about the Mosler MT900 and it’s combination of low weight and loads of horsepower. The MT900 GTR XX is the ultimate variant of Mosler’s current model line. It celebrates the companies 20th anniversary and went on sale last month. Intense Automotive Design have received one of these exclusive cars and have immediately set about bending the laws of physics!

The most interesting change is one which has allowed the car to be registered in the US state of California as a hybrid. It runs on a mixture of petrol, methanol, hydrogen, and ethanol which apparently accounts for the huge amounts of power that the spec sheet claims.
The price you pay for technology like this? For a start, the racing fuel pumps are capable of delivering six gallons (22.7 liters) per minute! So this isn't meant for long trips!

The whole car has essentially been stripped down, and most parts replaced with one-off parts.
Examples of this are the double engine management system and the various IAD engine components course, these are necessary for such a high performance machine. All these changes allow the engine to spin to 10,000rpm. Theres a huge list of components used in the Induction/ Ignition/ Transmission, mostly made from the highest quality materials, carbon and titanium feature heavily.

Performance:

0-100 km/h = 2.5 seconds
1/4 mile = 9.0 seconds
1/4 mile speed = 286 km/h
Braking: 400 km/h to 0 in 8.5 seconds

It sees the limiter at 490 km/h because of the rear spoiler and the methanol mix, however the company claim it could be good aerodynamically for over 640 km/h... just too crazy for words. Essentially all we need to know is that 490 would be the actual top speed.

Aerodynamics are another big part of what the ‘Land Shark’ does. There’s modified front splitters, dive planes, air intakes (including roof), a flat floor with air ducting, side vents and a carbon fibre spoiler.
The wheels are carbon fibre with a magnesium center and titanium lug nuts. Wrapped around these are Michelin Pilot Sport 2 tires in sizes 285/35R19 PS2 for the front and 345/30R20 PS2 for the rear.
