Italdesign Nazca C2 Spider '93
Italdesign Nazca C2 Spider '93.jpg
Designed by famed automotive engineering company Italdesign, home of Giorgetto Giugiaro, and features a similar frontal design of a BMW, the BMW Nazca C2 or Italdesign Nazca C2, was 1992 a concept sports car which premiered at the 1993 Detroit Auto Show.

The V12 engine 4988 cc 24-Valves produces 350 HP @ 5200 RPM, and offer a 3.7 seconds for the sprints from 0 to 100 km/h, and a maximum speed of 325 km/h.

Its first prototype was dubbed the Italdesign M12 and was powered by a BMW V12 engine that was also found in the BMW 750i and 850i. During the early 1990’s, the M12 was restyled and became known as the C2. It shared similar design cues to its predecessor. It was given a Alpina-tuned V12.

And in 1993 Italdesign released a new, slightly redesigned version of the C2 called C2 Spider. The Nazca C2 Spider was fitted with a more powerful engine than the C2: a BMW 12 cylinder unit offering 5660 cc and 380 hp, the same one developed for the BMW 850 CSi. The high power required the adoption of a sturdy 6-speed gearbox.

Still doesn't change the fact the design resembles a Bugatti.

Hulme CanAm '11
Hulme CanAm '11.jpg
A limited run of just 20 New Zealand-designed and built Hulme CanAm supercars ensures extreme rarity value. The developers of the eagerly-awaited 320+ km/h Hulme CanAm Supercar, named in honour of New Zealand racing legend and F1 World Champion, Denny Hulme, have announced an attractive proposition for those wishing to purchase an option to order one of an extremely limited production run.

The only production road car to bear the name of a F1 World Champion, The Hulme CanAm is an ultra high-performance, mid-engined roadster. Created for both road and track use, the car blends the raw flavour and appeal of a Formula racing car with dramatic design, superb craftsmanship, exceptional performance and a thrilling and achievable driving experience.

To honour Denny's CanAm Championship wins in McLaren CanAm cars powered by Chevrolet V8's, the Hulme CanAm is powered by a 7-litre (427cu.in) Chevrolet LS7 V8 developing 600 hp and 600 Nm torque, fed through a close-ratio, six-speed CIMA manual gearbox (Paddles or Sequential shift will be options available). As a consequence of its lightweight construction, the Hulme CanAm weighs in at less than 1,000kg. This combination promises a sub-three and a half second sprint to 100 km/h, and top speed in excess of 320 km/h.

Despite its ultra-performance and emphatic race car credentials, the Hulme Supercars' design and development focus has been on driveability, with power delivery and handling dynamics optimised for maximum driving enjoyment on track and on the road.

Callaway C16 '07
Callaway C16 '07.jpg
Callaway Cars Inc. is an engine design company that is known for its modification of Chevrolet cars, the Corvette sport cars in particular, especially their twin-turbo kit that became a dealer option and their record breaking Corvette Sledgehammer car.

Callaway Cars unveiled its Callaway C16 - the 16th in an impressive lineup of exclusive, built-to-order Callaway automobiles. Based on the generation 6 Chevrolet Corvette platform, the C16 takes performance and style to the next level, with 616 supercharged hp and 582 lb-ft of torque. The new sports car incorporates Callaway's race-proven technologies, superlative craftsmanship and arresting style.

"The C16 says exactly what we want to say about the capabilities at Callaway Cars: It's gorgeous, it has class-leading performance-and it's a true daily driver based on one of the best sports car platforms ever made." says company founder Reeves Callaway.

The C16 was drawn and modeled by designer Paul Deutschman, who has a twenty-year portfolio of Callaway designs. "He is the architect of the Callaway look-from the 254 mph Sledgehammer and our C4-based Le Mans race cars to the C7, the C12 and now the C16," says Callaway. The car's handcrafted bodywork replaces every panel of the standard body to achieve its integrated look. The C16 also attains a new level of manufacturing efficiency. "In making this car we went from CAD design straight to tooling, bypassing a full-sized model-a first for us," says Callaway. "It's tools like PTC's Pro/ENGINEER software, our technology partner, that make such efficient car design possible."

The Callaway supercharged 6.0-liter LS2 V8 produces an impressive 616 hp at 6,200 rpm and develops 582 lb-ft of torque at 4,750 rpm. The Callaway C16 does 0 to 100 km/h in 3.3-seconds, and a quarter mile in 10.9 seconds. Top speed of the manual transmission coupe is 332 km/h. Equally impressive is its fuel efficiency rating of 18 city/28 highway. It is emission compliant worldwide.

Yokohama "AdvanSport" 295/30ZR19 (front) and 345/25ZR20 (rear) tires complete the package. "The secret to this level of road-holding starts with the tire," says Callaway. "As a specialist manufacturer, we are honored to have Yokohama be our exclusive tire partner, which gives us access to technology that results in our extraordinary performance numbers."

The car's excellent handling and ride feel are courtesy of the newly developed Callaway/Eibach Multi-Pro coil-over suspension. This advanced spring/damper system features ride height, corner weight, and pitch angle adjustability. The aluminium-bodied dampers feature 10-click-position compression and rebound adjustability and have remote mounted reservoirs, allowing the driver to control a range of ride stiffness settings for track or road.

Inside, the C16 cockpit is completely retooled in German leather and Alcantara. Also fitted are Recaro Pole Position seats with a choice of harnessing styles. Door sill panels, steering wheel and passenger dash area also carry signature Callaway badging. Each automobile is serialized and identified by its build plaque. C16s are built to order. Clients choose body color and interior appointments to individual taste.

The C16's Callaway exhaust system is manufactured from stainless steel and features Callaway's signature Double-D exhaust tip design. As demonstrated by the car's horsepower throughput, the exhaust system is the least restrictive and is generally known as the best-sounding solution for C5- and C6-generation Corvettes.

To bring the Callaway C16 from 320+ km/h to rest, Callaway 6-piston front and 4-piston rear calipers grip 355mm diameter rotors. Super-lightweight Callaway Dymag wheels, the lightest road wheel in the industry, are fitted in sizes 19-inch x 10 front and 20-inch x 12 rear. The Dymag wheel features a remarkable hybrid of forged magnesium centers surrounded by carbon fiber rims - another example of Callaway bringing their race experience to their road cars. Dymag has been supplying advanced road wheels to Callaway since 1986.

There are three transmission options on the Callaway C16: two 6-speed manual transmissions (one incorporating the Z51 Performance Package's shorter ratios in the first four gears), or a 6-speed automatic with paddle shift. The Callaway C16 delivers the feeling of a fully integrated driver's car, maintaining the company's legendary hallmark of easy-to-drive, super high-performance road cars.

Callaway C16 automobiles are built by Callaway facilities in California, Connecticut, and Germany. The Callaway C16 is available exclusively through Callaway Cars' authorized dealer network in North America, Callaway Competition in Leingarten, Germany, and CorvetteTotal, Bonstetten, Switzerland.

Aspira F620 '10
Aspira F620 '10.jpg
The Aspira F620 prototype was produced by Craig Gillingham of Aspira Cars Uk and Henry Nickless of Chiron world sportscars and was first shown at Autosport International, NEC, 2010.

The Aspira is equipped with a 6.2-liter V8 engine (LS376 GM V8 - a GM-tweaked version of the 6.2-litre LS3 V8 with upgraded camshafts) producing 538 hp power coupled with 6-speed gearbox from Graziano, which can accelerate to 330 km/h.

Built to exacting standards including air conditioning, leather seats and deluxe interior, electric mirrors, racelogic launch and adjustable traction control, GEMS X25 ecu, hydraulic lift suspension, varex exhaust and Aspira own big brake kit.

The total cost to produce this one off supercar is thought to be well over £200,000 and 3 years in the making. Produced using a combination of rapid 3D printing and traditional carbon fibre made parts.
Further the Aspira is a one off handbuilt supercar. Engine choices are GM LS376/480 and LS9 supercharged V8 producing up to 800 bhp with mild tuning mated to a Graziano gearbox.

Unfortunately this car was not taken into production and stays as an amazing one-off.

This UK/European compliant road car was UK road registered under a low volume production IVA status with a MACert achieved March 2010, so this is no kit car.

As it remains a single produced vehicle, under low volume criteria such as used by the Koenigsegg CCR, the Aspira F620 has been described as the most exclusive supercar in the world today.

Milan Abarth '14
Milan Abarth '14.jpg
What you see here is called Milan Abarth, but despite that quintessentially Italian name, it is actually Austrian. And it makes sense, as it is named after Karl Abarth, the famous tuner of Fiat cars, who was born in Austria before setting shop in Italy.

Under the hood the customers have a choice between engines ranging from 600 hp up to 1700 hp. The power figure, combined with a maximum weight of just 1100 kg will allow a sprint from standstill to 100 km/h possible in under three seconds.
