Borgward Isabella Coupé (2+2) '60
Borgward Isabella Coupé (2+2) '60.jpg
The Borgward Isabella is an automobile which was manufactured by the Bremen based auto-manufacturer Carl F. W. Borgward GmbH from 1954 to 1962.

Responding to a sales decline of almost a third in 1955 and 1956, Carl Borgward decided to produce a more beautiful Isabella with a shortened roof line. The Borgward Isabella Coupé was developed, and the four hand built prototypes were well received by the press. Borgward gave one of these prototypes to his wife, Elisabeth, who would continue to drive it into the 1980s. Commercial production of the coupé, powered by the more powerful TS version of the engine first seen in the cabriolet, commenced in January 1957. The coupe appears to have achieved its marketing objective of further distancing the Isabella’s image from similarly sized competitors from Opel and Ford.

Borgward Isabella Coupe, manufactured or sold in 1960, version for Europe:

2-door coupe body type
RWD (rear-wheel drive), manual 4-speed gearbox

Bugatti Type 57 C Voll & Ruhrbeck Cabriolet '37
Bugatti Type 57 C Voll & Ruhrbeck Cabriolet '37.jpg
Up until 1934 there was a separate Bugatti model for almost every body type. To cut costs Ettore Bugatti decided to design one chassis that would be available with various body styles. Most of them were to be designed and constructed in the Bugatti factory. In charge of the new model's design team was Ettore's son, Jean Bugatti. He was just 23 years of age when the 'Type 57' project started in 1932.

Extremely expensive models like the Type 41 Royale and the Type 50 had not been a success. With that kept in mind Jean Bugatti designed a much smaller engine for the Type 57 than found in the Type 50 it replaced. The prototype engine displaced 2.8 litres, which was almost half that of Type 50's. The new engine was equipped with double overhead camshafts, similar in construction to those found on the Type 50 and Type 59 racer. The production engine displaced just under 3.3 litres and produced 135 hp in Naturally Aspirated form.

In the first models the engine was directly bolted onto chassis, which added to the rigidity of the ladder frame. In 1936 a second series was introduced which featured a strengthened chassis, because the engine was now mounted on rubber bushings. When Ettore Bugatti saw the prototype's independent front suspension, he immediately ordered the installation of a solid axle, which was used in every other production Bugatti. Friction dampers were fitted on the first batch of cars, later models were fitted with telescopic shock absorbers.

At its launch four bodytypes were available for the Type 57. Three of these were named after mountain peaks in the Alps; the four-seater, two-door 'Ventoux', the four-door 'Galibier' and the two-door 'Stelvio' convertible. Unlike the other bodies, the Stelvio body type was designed and built by French coach-builder Gangloff. The fourth body was dubbed Atalante and was the two-seater coupe variant. With a price twice as high as that of the least expensive Type 57, the Atalante was the most exclusive body of the lot. Its characteristic features were the 'kidney shaped' side windows and the split rear window.

For the sportier clients two improvements were added to the Type 57 line-up in 1936. First off was the addition of a Supercharger which boosted the power from 135 hp to 160 hp. Secondly a shorter and lower 'S' variant was launched, equipped with more powerful versions of the Naturally Aspirated and supercharged engines. Production of the 'S' lasted just three years, but the 'regular' Type 57 and 57 C lasted up until the outbreak of the Second World War. In total 546 Type 57s and 96 57Cs were built.

Lexus LF-Lc '12
Lexus LF-Lc '12.jpg
The Lexus LF line is a series of concept cars built by Lexus, the luxury vehicle division of Toyota Motor Corporation. The "LF" designation refers to Lexus Future.

Designated LF-LC for Lexus Future-Luxury Coupe, the concept two-door vehicle premiered in January 2012 at the North American International Auto Show. The vehicle's exterior and interior styling was created by the Calty Design Research center in Newport Beach, California, which previously developed the exterior styling of the first generation Lexus SC coupe and the fourth generation Lexus GS. The LF-LC features the brand's spindle-shaped grille which debuted several months prior on the fourth generation Lexus GS.

At the front of the concept, there’s a 3D sculpture form spindle grille with functional air intakes in the bottom corners of the grille, daytime running lights shaped like an "L", and vertical fog lamps that utilize a fading dot matrix pattern to suggest a sense of movement. The concept’s side is defined by lines that emphasize direction and motion while the glass roof features a lightweight, cantilevered pillar with a glass-to-glass juncture inspired by modern architecture. At the rear, the LF-Lc gets tail lamps inspired by the look of a jet, fog lamps repeating the fading dot matrix pattern of the front fog lamps, and integrated tail and fog lamps that repeat the "L" shape and lead the viewer’s eye down to the powerful Lexus quad exhaust.

The interior of the Lexus LF-Lc Concept combines the latest advanced technology with soft textures and organic shapes to create a driver-focused synergy of form and function. Lexus is offering a remote touch-screen device that allows the driver to comfortably operate controls without shifting position or altering line-of-sight.

The cockpit features twin 12.3-inch LCD screens that provide information and a navigation display. Inputs come from a touch-screen control board piercing the swept center console. The driver can control the audio system, climate controls, and navigation. Each door gets similar touch-screen surfaces that allow both driver and passenger to operate the windows, mirrors, seat adjustments, and personal entertainment settings.

The Lexus LF-Lc is powered by the latest Advanced Lexus Hybrid Drive that delivers both driving performance and fuel efficiency. Lexus hasn’t offered any details of the concept’s specifications, but they did confirm that the LF-Lc is a rear-wheel-drive model.

100K is nothing, the real dream is 10 times the amount of views we accumulated so far. :loll:

But this is still deserving of being congratulated.

Ferrari 410 SuperAmerica Series III '58
Ferrari 410 SuperAmerica Series III '58.jpg
While Ferrari was busy building and racing cars in the 1950s, the factory found time to build luxury cars that were truly in a class of their own. This by no means was a series production; on average only one of these was constructed each month.

The first of these was the 342 America, first shown in 1952, fitted with a Touring styled body. The long block engine was derived from the 340 America sports racer, but the chassis was a bit longer to increase the interior space. Only six examples were produced, of which the Pininfarina bodied examples are the most important. They were the first Ferraris bodied by the Turin based coach builder and started a strong collaboration that continues to this day.

At the 1953 Paris Motorshow, two new road cars were displayed, both using Lampredi's 'long block' V12 engine. The smaller of the two was the 250 Europa and its big brother the 375 America. It shared its 4.5 litre engine with the marque's Formula 1 and sports car racers. This extremely powerful engine made the America the fastest luxury car in the world. With production of the chassis already limited, the coach builders made sure that every one received a custom body. About ten were built during its two production years, with Pininfarina bodying the majority of them.

Two years after the 375 America's production, Ferrari again showcased a new luxury GT at the Paris show, but in chassis form only. Dubbed 410 SuperAmerica, the completed car made its debut at the Brussels Motorshow a year later. The Pininfarina designed body resembled the 250 GT competition car. Compared to the smaller Ferrari, the 410 SuperAmerica's 2800mm long wheelbase was 200mm longer. Power came from Ferrari's largest engine to date, displacing just under 5 litres. It shared this engine with the 410 Sport, designed specifically for a number of South American road races. In competition form, the engine was good for at least 400 hp and the 340-360 hp available in the SuperAmerica was more than sufficient.

Three series of SuperAmericas were created. In 1955 the first batch of 16 cars were produced and mainly bodied as a coupe by Pinin Farina. The last examples constructed shared the 2600mm wheelbase with the 250 GT racing cars. In 1956 and 1957 only five were assembled and by that time were the only Ferraris still using the Lampredi long block engine. In 1958 a new Pininfarina body became available, which was fitted on another twelve cars. Using one of the shorter wheelbase chassis, Ferrari and Pininfarina constructed the stunning 410 Superfast, which was displayed at the 1956 Paris show.

Production of the Lampredi engine finally ceased in 1959, so a new engine was needed for the 410's replacement. First shown in Brussels in 1960, the 400 SuperAmerica, featured a four litre version of Colombo's 'short block' V12 engine. It was the upscaled version of the three litre V12 unit that had scored so many successes in Sports Car and GT races. Four years later, a final incarnation of the limited production luxury GT was introduced in the shape of the 500 Superfast. It used a five litre version of the short block V12. In 1966 the model was discontinued after fifteen years and just 130 cars produced. Today the America, SuperAmerica and Superfast remain as some of the most exclusive cars ever produced by Ferrari.

Thank you guys. I never thought the list would get this far, when I first posted it it was just something my brother did when he was bored, I then decided to further develop it to my likes and now we have a mini database that is more reliable than Image like Wikipedia. Image
