Bentley Hunaudières '99
Although no one realised it at the time, the 1999 Bentley Hunaudières was a huge hint at what the Bugatti Veyron would be like, both mechanically and visually. The Hunaudières shares a striking visual resemblance to the Veyron, and is even powered by a less powerful version of its very engine - a 630 bhp, 8 litre W16.
Fitted with all wheel drive and weighing almost the same as the Veyron, the Hunaudieres performs well : 100 km/h arrives in just 3.4 seconds, and its mighty engine thunders on to a max speed of 354 km/h.
Although the Hunaudieres never reached production, it would be very cool to be able to drive this beast.

Alfa Romeo SE048 SP Group C '90
This beauty is the Alfa Romeo SE048 SP, built in 1990 for Alfa's planned attempt at entering the legendary Group C category of the Le Mans 24h race. The project was stillborn though, and the SP never raced.
I doubt that I would be alone in saying that this beauty would give the old Toyota TS020 a run for its money, both in the speed and looks departments...

TVR 5000M '75
Only about 9 TVR 5000M's were produced. In North America TVR sold the 2500M which featured Triumph TR6 running gear - this engine had already passed US emissions tests. Triumph introduced the TR7 and ceased sale of the TR6. John Wadman, President of TVR North America began a project in 1974 to replace the straight six Triumph engine with a 302 Ford V8. Once the conversion had been developed TVR supplied a small number of cars without engines and gearboxes to Wadman, they also produced a couple in house including a race model for TVR MD Peter Wheeler.

Imperia GP '12
No, this isn’t one of those posts that highlights the great and not-so-great features of a really old model. The picture you see before you is actually a brand-spanking new vehicle, and the first model to leave the Liege workshops for more than 50 years. This is the Imperia GP Imperia GP which illustrates what one can do if they pick the right retro style and give it a modern twist, kind of like the Morgan Aero SuperSport , but hybrid and slower.
Imperia Automobiles set out to revive their Belgian brand with a new sports car created with PowerHybrid motorization technology developed by Green Propulsion. This lead them to a 1.6 liter four-cylinder turbocharged engine with an output of 210 hp and 250 Nm of torque, plus a 136 hp electric motor. The GP can go up to 70 kilometers on pure electric mode, while taking five hours to fully charge the batteries.
