Hi guys :D

I was going to do the forum updates this weekend but have run into a problem with one of the extensions so i will have to postpone the update till next weekend. :(

On a side note:
I know i haven't been very active on the forum lately but this is honestly only down to the fact that I'm just not getting the free time at the moment :( mid-week gaming is virtually none existent but i do grab a bit at weekends (at the moment i am slowly working my way through Far Cry 4)

I wish i had the time to promote the forum more and get it a bit more active but i just don't at the moment so it is what it is, but i would like to thank all the members that are still sticking around even though we are not very active at the moment, thanks guys. ;)

Ok forum will be going off-line today, i will try to keep it to a minimum as i will be doing most of the work beforehand and just having to upload the changes to the server but will still have work to do once it is uploaded. :geek:

The update won't affect the look of the forum as it is just a software update to the next major version of phpBB but it will bring more functionality and security to the forum.

It will also mean some of the extensions installed on the forum will change and some new ones will be added (more on this after the update ;) )

If all goes well i may start the update earlier that stated in the ticker. :mrgreen:

Ok all done been a long day but all went well for the most part. :mrgreen:

Most people will need to refresh the browser cache using Ctrl-F5 to see the forum correctly (nothing i can do about it at the moment. :(

Only big change at the moment is the way photo are displayed will add more as time goes on but had enough of the coding for today. :P

As usual any problems post here. :D

The thing I noticed right away is that the option to go to the last unread post is gone. Was handy, that eh.

Just give the forum time to populate and things should come back.

You will be able to click on a link to the last post as in the photo

Something has gone wrong. Forum is a bit messed up. I'll check tomorrow.

Ok after investigating the icon to link to last post is still in same place you just can't see it.

this could be an icon issue or just something as simple as a colour issue.

Am working on it. :ugeek:

@Mad you will need to do a hard refresh to your browser

I had to do the ( CTRL+F5 ) too, but after that no issues - yet.
The CTRL+F5 thing is a known issue and must be done to clear your browser after the update nothing i can do about it unfortunately :(
