I can only apologise for the lost posts and will make more regular backups from now on

The problem was caused by a mod I installed to re-size the photos on the forum, it did not install correctly and broke the posting page,
I tried all sorts of ways to fix it but it messed up to many files so I had no option to install from a backup.

Thanks Bez
Hey, if Atari did what you did, they would take years to fix it, where you took like a day or so.
They use Vbulletin, Bez uses phpBB.
Vbulletin is way more advanced than phpBB.
On top of that, and I'm not defending Atari here btw, when several plugins and additional 3rd party software are installed, the board is quite difficult to fix.
That doesn't mean it should take 4 months to fix, ÍF there will be a fix.

phpBB can be fixed within minutes, as where vBulletin takes at least a day to fix if either part of the code or installed additional software is being a mean bean.

Nonetheless it's good that Bez took the time to find the issue and repair the board, since he is quite a starter in the bulletin board business :)
Props to Bez,

All say HAAAAAYYYY BEZ !

Off course there is a big difference with the Atari forum merger and this little hick-up. But it is all about the way you handle things what counts.
If Atari would have treated the community different, they would have gotten away with a lot more easily. It is an attitude thing IMO.

Anyway the problem has been fixed, no need to pull each others hairs out either. Time to move on.
