Hmm .. it stile remains to be seen if W9 would be a the ideal successor to W7, but then they would have to make it more orientated towards desktops than W8 ever was...

But i won't make the jump, until i'm 100% sure it is good for desktop use

My tablet runs the full pc version of W8, and i HATE the stupid layout of W8 over W7, luckily it has a touch screen so it is not too bad to use, and i found a mod that added the left corner Windows menu bottom.

Lol and to force us into choicing the next version of Windows then M$ aka. MicroShitters are killing of W7...!

I don't like win 8 either ... I wait and see till now windows 7 does the job for me.

I'm under the impression W9 will be much better. It will be targeted at Desktops with a proper start menu.

let's hope it is better then windows 8 it's awful

Still think w7 is the best at the moment. It will be hard to beat. Don't feel the need to change to anything new yet.
