So i flashed to the stock GM204 BIOS ROM and it actually handles pretty good, i remember having had hit a wall at 1500 mhz, but with more knowledge of the voltage control i just add some and overclocked it to 1550 mhz without image issues, only GPU-Z is showing blue and orange perf.caps but nothing to feel by it.

But the cards own GPU boost seems to not be working right as it barely ups the clock even when there is plenty of headroom.

Stock OC bios - Stock bios with 1550 mhz OC - old 1582 mhz OC

You might notice the 10.500 to 11.500 but not the 11.500 to 11.800. Very good score for a 970. I don't think i have ever beaten the 10K with my GTX970CU Mini in the HTPC.

heh yea it is decent enough, not the 17-18K i could get soon :) Now i just need to drain and take the GPU block off and remount the CPU block with a naked mount. And then fill up the loop again and it is business as usual

I have scrolled a few pages back on the Firestrike results page and found the best result was with the 364.72 drivers. (16.400) From there results have been less good with a 16.200 topping the latest driver scales. But even under 16.000 is common with some tests.

So maybe rolling back to these is not such a bad idea. I'm still experiencing stuttering in the Crew, especially in dense areas like woods or cities.

I think these drivers never favored the Kepler generation and were Maxwell optimized only. The same goes for all drivers from now. They will favor Pascal. Maybe if you are lucky they will add something that benefits Maxwell as well. But it is unlikely.

All is focused on support for the latest cards and the sales of these cards

Yup, that's why i'll only use it and have been for months now, it is the only and most stable game driver for my gtx 970, the newer drivers just cause crashes etc, so they are worthless to me, but 364.72 is golden 8-)

Had some serious issues this morning with SLI and Driver fails. 2x CTD.

I really hope these issues have gone now with my new GFX

First run with the Titan was good. Image looked smooth and a constant high FPS.
And it is inaudible.

This also shows the good old Core i7 2700K @ 4200Mhz is holding it back. :D

This single GFX is a beast, already outperforming the 2xGTX780Ti as expected.

What a monster, now you just need a faster CPU to match it and then a waterblock the GPU so you can overclock it without hitting the thermal limit ;)

But it did already go over 1800mhz, lol

I also ran the more important DX12 benchmark, the new Time Spy

http://www.3dmark.com/compare/spy/23673 ... /spy/14356

7 264 Time Spy

A whopping 40~50% faster than the 2x780Ti. :eeek:

Of course Firestrike 1.1 runs at only 1080p and is not really representative of the additional GFX power. It showed a 10% overall improvement and a 20% better score on the graphics alone.

Here is Firestrike Extreme (compared with older 780ti bench as i did not ran it that often recently) (+25%)

http://www.3dmark.com/compare/fs/9692988/fs/6349881

11 771 vs 9 294

And Firestrike Ultra (+33%)

http://www.3dmark.com/compare/fs/9693104/fs/6349925

6 682 vs 5 026

So the big win is in the UHD (4K), exactly where i need it

EDIT did another Firestrike 1.1 run with only a custom fan profile.
