Latest Nvidia driver does not show any change in performance. Let's hope they have not screwed this one

Yes, considering that JayZ2Cents had similar scores with OC1080's.

The 7700K will be my next weapon of choice. At least 60% faster at same speeds as a 2700K. But i will also drop a massive amount of DDR4 RAM in there. For the 4K rendering and multi tasking.
I already know that the one after that will be a hexacore.

Heh yea i was thinking of that video when i saw the score, but also your 6600K is outperforming the 2700K :P

So soon time for retirement.

I think Coffee Lake will be my upgrade point or 1-2 years down the line.

Not too bad. I will need some serious CPU HP to get over the 8K and beyond.

lol try 9K as your old cpu is bottlenecking the Titan XP alot, you'll see a ton of extra performance when you upgrade.

Okay i did the same tests with my system with no overclocks on as i see no point in running a OC'ed system when i only use 60% of the power on tap anyway ;)

The only OC is run on my pc is my Dell screen which is have OC'ed to 65hz to make the v-sync abit better.

These mem modules can run at 3200 through XMP, but i use them at 3000 now. Also the 6600K is very well capable of OC way over 4Ghz, but as this is a HTPC and therefore requires a quiet operation, everything is set at low speeds. I did optimize airflow where i could. Even removed the optical bay.
It runs like clockwork. And plays games just fine. :D

I posted these results, as Nvidia is known to `magically` find extra performance with new launch drivers. These are the same the press got for review purposes. It now officially supports the GTX1080Ti, but there is more to it than that.
