If your ps3 is running slow u should go throw your data and delete what u don't play no more or don't have no longer If u have been saving pics from games u should stop cuz it uses a lot of space and u might have a viras and for that if u have game data u don't want to loss u plug a USB drive into your ps3 copy what u want and then u go to your system settings so u can do a factory reset and it will take a while but it will fix the problem if the start up data is damaged or corrupted idk what u should do for that.
