Now let's talk gameplay and car handling, with the full picture since we could play both with a standard controller and a driving wheel (in a cool hydraulic cockpit and a triple screen set). To put it bluntly, the sensations are better behind a wheel than with a gamepad, and not just because of the whole moving cockpit. It's not that using a controller makes the game any less fun, it's just that the game feels more realistic with a wheel, which is not a surprise considering all the driving assists are automatically off when playing this way... The pleasure really came from the fact that you had to fight with the wheel to handle your vehicle

The developers are still actively working on finishing the map but we've been told that it should take a bit more than 2 and a half hours to go from the east coast to the west coast using a fast car and the freeway, and about four hours to go around the whole country itself

It's a shame they won't make a PS3 version. My parents most likely won't buy a new console since our PS3 is less than 3 years old.

Well I think this title I will get on all 3 platforms (pc, PS4 and xbox one). Btw try to convince your parents .... my ps3 is under a year my only concern is where to put 2 new consoles lol

I suppose it's possible considering TDU was ported to the PS2 and PSP, albeit somewhat neutered with less cars.

They did mention that before. From a sales perspective a logical choice. But they also made clear they want to make use of the possibilities the new consoles and High End PCs have to offer.
So either highly unlikely it will be the same game or just another rumor. Only a dumbed down version could work for the PS3 and XBox360. I don't think they want to sacrifice the whole product, just to make it work on those. Also the last gen consolers would probably have too high expectations and will be disappointed with a simplified version.

Only Marketing Milkers will consider it.
