I received an email from Codemasters about this race series (USA only) and have been unable to join it in-game. I'm in the USA, logged in to my Racenet account through my browser (Firefox), go into the game, select Racenet (either online or offline) and all I get is an option to unlink my Racenet account. I've gone ahead and un-linked, then re-joined and still only get the option to unlink. Where's the Global Challenges Menu? Help!
1. Be a resident of the USA
2. Fire up GRID 2 and log in to RaceNet
3. Go to the Global Challenges menu
4. Click on the Rockstar Energy Race Challenge
5. Race!
6. Check back here to see your current league position
7. Repeat each week for five weeks!

Maybe in the options where you can select the online race types?
Or you have to activate it on racenet first

I've looked at every option there... I think.
Update: Found it. It's in the screen before selecting the three race types. It's the first screen where it says Online at the top left. You then have to side scroll to the other options.
Would it have been too much trouble to show those options dimmed out instead of completely hidden Codemasters?

Yeah it took me awhile to find that side scrolling business in Career mode. Had been trying it in Online, just hadn't found the right screen yet. still
Off to work. Fun later - should get my Caterham today.
PS I need to go play Dirt 3 again. No telling what I'll find in hidden menus there! lol
