They didn't ask me :loll:
I doubt if I will be getting this game, I quite liked Grid 2 when it first came out but soon got bored with the repetitive gameplay this sound a little better but not enough to tempt me yet.

Actually, after seeing this photo:

I have a lot more interest in the game now. They seem to have a pretty varied car list. And they've already talked about how they have a lot of tracks. Hopefully this game does well for itself, and I might just grab it for my 360.

Grid2 had a lot of good elements in it. But what i never understood was that they switched the race and the drift handling and never corrected it.
During races you were confronted with unrealistic, forced drifts, while in Drift events, you really had to work hard to get it into a drift and keep it there.

The forced drifts were also the reason why i lost interest in the game. It is easier to play with a controler or keyboard than with a wheel, even if the wheel support and FFB were very good.

If they improved the handling a bit, added some nice locations and tracks, it might be a good game.

I will mis the live tracks though. I liked that. Having to anticipate all the time.

I dont really think this game will be boring. We'll see.

Will GRID Autosport have the online longevity that GRID 1 had? That in question, with no text chat and flashback allow in the online playlist and upgrades for online. Will there be a hardcore playlist with no flashbacks, damage ON and collision forward ( like in GRID 1 ) to stop griefers from going backwards?

Codies trying make some right moves, like the handling, but jury still out if online racing with GRID Autosport will be good. If Codemasters say they been listening to the fan base, then how was text chat left out!!!!

People were probably too focused on getting a cockpit view that they forgot about text chats! Being a console player, it doesn't really affect me, but I can see how that would be a big problem for PC players. I hope they listen and put that in before release, or at least make it an update at some point!
