Seriously? They're already getting people to fund the second one? I feel like this is way too soon after the release of the first, especially considering that there are still bugs in the console versions...

There are obviously things they can not do with the pCars engine. pCars2 will have a wider variety of competitions, including loose surface racing. Maybe they should do it as an extension of pCars, rather than the next version.

But TBH, i think they want to make it for DX12 with all benefits. And a project of that magnitude will take at least 3 years to develop. Even if they have a good base to work from already. pCars took 2 years longer than anticipated.

I missed out on the first project. It felt like a mistake. But maybe pCars2 is indeed too soon® or too fast. I rather have them develop some more stuff for pCars1. More tracks, more licensed cars. The works.

Lol, i just signed up. Gold Membership

They definitely have a lot lined up still for pCARS, including a lot of ovals, historical tracks, and the entire Indycar series. So a lot of content is still to come, but the game isn't old enough yet for them to publicly announce the new game's development. If they had been quiet about devoting some of their staff to new development, no one would be bothered about this. But you'll have to keep us updated with development of the new title, MadMan!

What exactly is so bad about this? This is how the gaming industry works, when the new game releases a team is put on task for the next game. The only difference here is that they've let people know they're working on a new game.

Development probably started when the first one was released. This does not mean pCars1 is abandoned.

Just downloaded Build 0000, :D

Can't get more green than that. They really give you access to the whole project, right from the start.

I think i'm fine with Gold. Don't need a "free" meal, you paid for yourself  Can be fun though with the dev team. I enjoyed it in Lyon with Ivory Tower.
But in Fulysic case, i hope the plane-ticked is included ;)

I haven't decided if I will invest in P Cars 2 yet, if I did it would have to be a build with an option to get an advertising board with TDU Drivetime graphics on it in game and a vehicle livery with custom TDU DriveTime stickers designed by forum members.
But the minimum price for a build with these options is £1000 :eeek: I just don't think I can justify that amount of investment but its nice to dream. :D
