RBR does not dissappoint.
And the HAAS F1 looks good too.
We can already draw the conclusion that the cars look a lot better this year. If they drive as well as they look, we will have an awesome season. Hopefully a bit less predictable
Only car missing now is the STR.
Edit: the STR looks better than the RBR IMO, lol
Formula1 Talk
On the first testing day at Barcelona, it is already noticeable that the cars have become a lot quicker.
Especially Vettel's Ferrari and Hemiltons Mercedes were the cars to beat in this early testing session.
RBR and McLaren had technical issues, preventing them to do a lot of laps in the morning. Ricciardo did a large stint in the afternoon.
Vettel did an insane amount of laps. Bottas was 1.5 sec slower than Hamilton. Nobody knows how much fuel they carry, but that is too much of a difference. First punch is for Hamilton

Mclaren disappointed me abit, but Honda should have tested their crap before sending it over to Mclaren, if Mclaren doesn't get their shit together this year i then i have lost all my faith in the team, and then it is just all other team's vs. Mercedes.
But Mercedes tested their car on track before the preseason test so they would be ready, but Mclaren did shit to get ready, and they have issues when they are asked to perform, you would think a Mclaren would be able to make a good car, but apparently not, i really hope they step it way up over the next weeks.

I voted for STR for the best livery of this season

More money than talent? Lance Stroll struggled when he spun and parked his Williams F1 in the gravel. On testing days like this, you need to drive a lot of laps to collect data for the team. Parking the car off track in lap 2 is not good.
Massa kept up with the best yesterday, showing what an experienced driver should do. Did Lance learned his lesson? We will see soon® enough.

Lance Stroll visits the grit more often than a cat. After yesterdays shunt, he drove into the gravel twice today.
Needles to say i think he is not fit for the job. Coming from F3, like Max, but he is no Max. Not by a long shot.
Guys like this should get a testing year in F1, doing some runs on Friday to prepare them for the real job later. The money must be sweet for Williams and Stroll did perform well in F3. Right now he does not seem to have the control or skillset he needs to drive a 2017 F1 car competitive. How long before Williams realises this?
He will not only bring himself into danger, but also other drivers on the grid. Especially with the high demanding F1 cars this year, you need to be sure that your drivers are on top of it and can handle these mean machines. Maybe not the best year for rookies to make their debut.
Stroll did almost 100 laps (98) before he parked his Williams in the barriers. That is 1.5 of a GP distance (66laps).
Williams said that the last incident was because of cold tires and high fuel load. Aren't F1 drivers supposed to be capable of dealing with that as part of their jobs? It even makes less sense to me that you push too much before the tires are warm.
They obviously take him in protection. But from who?
On the upside of things, Bottas was fastest today and also set a time under 1.20. These new F1 cars are insanely fast.

Nice it is wet tires testing tomorrow of a wet track
In short Stroll is fucked I hope he survives it

Stroll needs to get his act together quickly. That's for sure.
Wet weather test today at Barcelona, where they can create a wet track, using sprinklers.
These new, wider tires need to deal with a lot more water than last year.
At the same time there is more downforce. That should help finding grip in the wet conditions.
