Great game and the better team won. Germany can now add a 4th title, and the first European team to win in the western hemisphere.

Questioning whether Messi should've actually won the golden ball... as he didn't score in a single knockout stage game... there were better contenders. Just goes to show that great teams win titles, not players.

Yes, the Argentinians were probably already preparing for the penalties. Big mistake when you play Germany. They always score in the closing stages of a match.
But Argentina showed once more how dangerous they can be in neutralizing a game.
