Gender option in your profile

I voted yes, I believe it is the user's choice to add the gender they currently are, it stand's under the freedom of self expression, weather they add a gender to there profile or not is not the point, but giving the user the option to do so can make a small difference and make some people feel more comfortable.

If it is compulsory to state your gender on your profile that's a different story

I agree with this ^^

Really do not need. Another sort of profiling. Also, even though it is estimated that only 1 in 1000 people are transgendered, you would be remiss to not include that as a selection. Just saying.

Ok poll has ended and as promised I said I would go with the winning results.
You can now display your gender in your profile if you wish (needs to be selected in your User Control Panel under profile)
Just leave it as Private to not display anything or pick Male/Female to display it in your profile.
