Back in the days, when photographers and cameramen were standing on the paveway, smoking a cigarette, while cars were storming past with 200kmh with no barrier between them.

Last year Vettel called Kvyatt a torpedo, after he hit him twice.

This year, Kvyatt has a new helmet design for Sotchi

Hahaha time for some Russian driving again, we all know it is in his DNA

But maybe it will be Stroll this time :P

Very happy i found myself a new streaming site for watching F1, now i see the British Channel 4 coverage of the F1 race, only minus is that the presenters speak way more British, so i'll have to adjust my American english abit, but the sound and image qaulity is great, and no more stupid video buffering on the other crap streams. 8-)

Ferrari has the pace this weekend. Lewis was doing some extensive scouting. Looked not totally focused.

I can receive CH4 with the sat dish. You shoud consider getting one. As BBC etc are free. But CH4 does not do all races. I think they are limited to just 8. Maybe that will change with Liberty now.

I think that if Alonso likes it in the USA, he might stay there for next year's IndyCar. Unless he gets a factory drive at Renault.
McLaren does a lot of damage to the F1 now. Not just for their own team, but for the sport in general. Vandoorne has already used all his Turbo's for this season. Still 75% of the races to go. Just ridiculous.

But the good thing is the revival of Ferrari. Mercedes can not take anything for granted now. That will put the pressure on them.
And it might be a relief for the team as well, to fight with another team, instead of within the team.

I prefer SkySports F1, but their stream is not the best at times and sometimes it is very laggy. But if i watch CH4's coverage without lag and with good sound then i'll do that for as many times i can, beggars can't be choosers, :D

And yes for sure i think the Mercedes and Ferrari rivalry is the best ting for the sport right now. But yes McLaren is nobody now, a once great time is broken very bad now, i think they should just get the Mercedes and have a outside engine tuner make the engine for them that would be the way to go, as Honda clearly have no glue at all.

Where modern F1 races are like cage fights, back in the day all was in the open. Drinking some wine, while GP cars with 300kmh go by, only a few meters away, on small wheels, with drum brakes and drivers without seat belts.

This is the Old Spa Francorchamps, with fast sweeping corners and a much longer track than is used today.

Ferrari on the front row in Russia.

This might be another chance for Ferrari to shine. Mercedes has been the second team all weekend. Lewis was out of focus somehow.
Max dissapointed with 7th. Massa got 6th. The long straights require a powerful engine. Still no excuse.

Good result from Hulkenberg as well.

Congratulations to Valtteri Bottas. :2thumbsup:
His first win and what a drive it was. Vettel maxxed out the pressure in the end, but a little Brazilian stayed 2 corners too long on the race line, leaving Bottas enough room to keep his lead.

Bottas also driver of the day. Hamilton did not have a good weekend. RBR had a lot of reliability issues.
Kimi woke up way too late, setting fastest laptimes when the race was already over.
Max had a boring, lonely race, but maxxed out in 5th. He told Dutch TV that he was watching TV, to see what others did at the front.

And some drivers do not belong in Formula 1. ;)

The closing stages was very intense, but the A-hole Massa cost Vettel the chance at the race win, Massa should imo. get a penalty for not getting out of the way for Vettel when Massa wasn't even in traffic, as he has no excuse for blocking Vettel when he just let Bottas fly by. Massa is old, but surely not to old to know what a blue flag means, he block Vettel on purpose. This a penalty for blocking if i ever saw one...

Give Massa a 30 sec penalty for blocking and call it a day, so this old idiot doesn't do it again, blue flags means get the fuck out of the way for the leaders passing you, not blocking them on the fucking raceline.....

Lol Vettel even gave Massa a well deserved middle finger
