Lamest excuse ever:

"In order to do a beta test we have to make a gold master of the beta test code, and for us it actually takes as much effort as to finish the real master code of the actual game."

Just finish the game than and release it without testing....

The real reason for no Beta is the publishing deadline. They do not even deny that.

Everybody who will buy this game at launch, will be a beta tester.

So has there been any other news about GT Sport recently? I mean, the game was absolutely huge for a month, then...nothing. Do you think they are still working on it, and slowing marketing? Or do they just want it to be a quiet release after a pretty tepid response to the reveal? Or am I just not looking in the right places for news?

Nothing really interestin' lately, unless you live in the UK, China, Chinese Taipei or Japan as some locations in these countries are scheduled to have a playable version of Gran Turismo Sport in numerous events.
