Dubai supercar company, Devel, claims to have built a 5,000bhp super sports car capable of achieving 0-60 in 1.8 seconds and go on to a top speed of 348 miles per hour. Just no.

If you pull out a car I don't own in my lobby, you'll meet my friend, the kick stick.

Why?
anything over 400hp is pretty much un-usable and only gets ya into trouble on the road
(altough the Segg Agera R the first car is that made 1000+hp very acceptable for me )

It makes you wonder though...why spend so much money on signs and advertising that say 5000hp if it's all just a lie? The company's website is just full of "coming soon" messages....there is a contact page with phone numbers, though.DarkBenedito-BR wrote:of course this is BS,imagine how instable this car would be at such a high speed.

The new prototype looks exciting.
But no engine bay views, dinky clumsy cockpit. Steering wheel is really a toy. And the HP numbers are cooked up.
I want to see it drive and beat Koenigsegg and Bugatti before we can take it seriously.
Just imagine the drive train needed to contain 5.000HP. Dragsters can maintain these HP numbers for a few seconds. And a lot goes wrong all the time. It is just a story of 1001 nights told by genies in a bottle.
Maybe that happens when you spend too much time in the hot desert with too much money at hand.
