*READ BEFORE POSTING*

I have decided to create a thread that allows users to write about their best and worst experiences in the world of Grand Theft Auto Online (GTAO).

please DO NOT name and shame other users or break the TDU:DT rules. This thread can become very volatile and I do not want to see anyone receive an infraction or get this thread locked permanently. Also, please don't complain about not being able to connect to sessions.

There is no specific format to posting, but if you have good and bad moments, I would prefer you write them like this:

good: *sample text*
bad: *sample text*
Platforms I have TDU2: PS3, PC, Xbox360 (no online).

It will be interesting to see what people write in this thread as I'm concerned about the hacking that will take place on the PC version and would like to hear how this has affected other players experiences on the consoles (Good or Bad)

I hate to throw PC under the bus but I actually hope the PC version comes out fast, as the majority of the hacking community will most likely move over there. On consoles a lot of the modders are threatened with console bans by Microsoft, but on PC there is no such middle-man.

The best would probably be the roleplaying; GTA to me has always been the best RPG on the market. Even yesterday we had some nice luxury car shows at a mansion on the hillside (pics in our snapmatic - http://socialclub.rockstargames.com/cre ... /snapmatic" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; ) and other activities.

The bad is most obviously the hackers/modders/cheaters that have completely ruined the game to the fullest extent. Illegally distributing counterfeit cash (bypassing cash cards) and unlocking DLC for free, literally millions of Felonies are being committed every second; Billions of irl money stolen. They need to all be waterboarded; i'll leave it with that.

How many times do we need to explain to you that hacking and modding are completely different things? :angry-tappingfoot:

With games like GTA that will let you roleplay as a criminal, it is not really surprising that it draws a certain crowd is it?
But Rockstar has already announced to clean up the ghetto and get rid of all stolen money. Wonder how they will pull that off.

PC version will probably suffer the same treatment from players. Maybe leave the online part for what it is.

Wh-why do people flip out at a player who's obeying the road rules?! What? Are they jealous of my Phantom?! My smooth turning at slow and high speeds?! My excellent driving skills?! :geek:

But seriously though. Also, why can't people respect other people's rides? I don't get it. Why do I get shotat by a player on the oncoming lane? Every time I drive, I get marked for a drive by and someone sprays their Uzi all over my door. Then do a U-Turn and chase me down.

You can explain all you want; doesn't change the facts of the matter

So playing a certain type of game means that person emulates real life behaviors? God then, I fear for the world then with all those 12 yr olds shooting innocent people to death on COD.

They already did.

Stay away from publics is the moral of most stories.

Although me and Sonic generally mess around in publics now, bounty hunting is a fun thing to do.

The best i have dealt with online is obviously my crew, because we generally find weird and different ways to have fun. Recently we have been saying "hey lets do something" as a challenge and we end up failing anyway, but its fun.

Things like this that happen is always a good time with friends.

I haven't really met much bad people online, maybe one or two "god moders" but in general all has been fine. Anyone who tries to chase me is usually left for dust in my nimble futo or just cant get to me anyway because i know the technique of getting a fighter jet from Fort Zancudo anyway.

Good to see Rockstar deals with cheaters. Having them on a separate server and cheat each other is best solution IMO.

I will not go into the psychology of playing lots of violent games, but not everybody can keep things separated and some kids will behave more violent than others because of it.
And i think that with a game that deals with violent crimes like GTA the moral switch to hack the game to their advantage is quicker made, but i can be wrong. They will simply see it as an extension of the game. Some lacking parenting supervision is also contributing to that.

In any case, Rockstar steps up and that is a good thing.
