The Girl in that Video was right. It could have been much more Bruce Willis with a fire at a Gas Station.

What a waste of a nice car. Now comes the question; has the Porsche 918 an electrical problem, like some early Teslas and Fisker Karma? Or was this stupid ignorance from a spoiled user? And was anybody trying to put out that fire? Another insurance scam?

Hmm could be electrics fault, but didn't the 911 GT3 also catch fire in its early stage...!

This is just a thought, but the fuel cap is right besides the exhouts, it most be getting hot when the car is driven in engine mood, and hot fuel is very flammable and unstable.

But weird fire none the less, good thing most gas stations are fire resitent xD

From what I read, it was the drivers fault 100%. Dumbass was fueling the car, not paying attention, and kept going past "full" until the fuel overflowed out the side... in which fell near the hot exhaust (I think) and ignited.

The problem these days: the car enthusiasts who love these cars can't afford them, and the people who do actually buy them have money but are complete idiots.
