The Crew Factions

Are there descriptions of the different factions? Or is it only location based?

They are just icons you can display in your profile to show what faction you have joined in-game, Alligators, Wolves, Bears, Snakes and Eagles.
Still working on the Icons.

I don't know if it was mentioned before, but which faction gets which region?

The only map I found about this is an artwork.

i think that "artwork" map is quite clear about territories

I do have a better photo showing how the factions are set out unfortunately I cant find it at the moment.

Also wile I am on the subject, I am having problems finding any Hi Res photos of the factions on the net so if anyone comes across any can they please post them here as I need them to design a better icon for the factions.

You can pick/choose change your faction any time you like in your User Control Panel
The idea if displaying it in your profile is to let other members see what faction you belong to.

Just don't forget to change it in the User Control Panel if you change it in-game.

(As the game is not out yet this is just for testing purposes and will become more relevant after release)

Since I live in the Midwest in real life, I have taken that for now.

i just took the bear (that kinda looks like a wolf )
because its the only one with anything car related
