I was doing this for the 780. At the end of the year NVIDIA is releasing the next Maxwell GPU's so then it'll be time to update my system too. Still using a 6950, although it can run most games at highest settings.

if the recommended specs are 8 gb of memory, does that mean the game is in 64 bit?. wouldn't 32 bit mean a max of 4 gb?

Just buy a GTX 680 and flash its bios to the GTX770 bios like I did and you have a GTX770. You might need to edit the bios with lower ram clocks though. That way you will save money.

i think i have all my bases covered with i7-3770k with 8gbram and r9-290x :) for this game but lets hope this game wont turn into watch dogs i had terrible framerates at about 45-50 normally on 45 sometimes it would dip around 30 but never lower than that and all that on ultra

Yes you have, but i think 8 gb more ram would do your pc rig good ;)

This is also the next upgrade i plan on during to my own pc rig, as the system takes up half of the 8 gb just in desktop idle

The Crew is made by a totally different team than Watch Dogs. They only have the same publisher.

But developing games for the next gen consoles must have some specific issues.

The FPS limit will be gone for the PC release version for example. You won't have issues running it at a steady 30fps on ultra i think.
And it looks pretty awesome on Ultra setting. :D

Me too, my rig only has 6gig at the moment so I'm planning on upgrading to at least 12gig maybe more depending on the price.

Good to see you're taking the advice i gave you a few months ago  You own it to your 780 Ti to get some more ram

Didn't you pc run 3x 2 gig 1333 mhz modules atm, those can't be that expensive anymore ;)
