If you already have the Crew base game and Season Pass, the Calling All Units DLC will include the Wild Run as well. Sweet deal. But a bummer for all that bought WR before.
I don't know if this new DLC will save The Crew.
Their reluctance to fix the bad bike physics (dirt/raid) and stupid returning bugs are annoying.
Also wheel support for Fanatec wheels is gone. And no reaction from the community manager on questions.
I did Summit events this morning and within 1 hour after doing most events once or twice, i was already near Top100, even if i still have to do 3 Crew events.
The new batch of players certainly has not brought quality to The Crew. And most will move on quickly when a new free game arrives.
Maybe it went to their heads the 9MLN copies sold. There are certainly not 9m players in the Crew.
If there are 5000 player doing Summit events, it is all.
They simply try to sell as much new DLC as possible. If it is enough to continue developments on The Crew remains to be seen.
The reluctance to deal with cheaters of all kinds has turned many good players away from the game.
And they fail to recognize the abuse of in-game flaws to set high scores. Deadly for a good competition.
So even if they do deal with those, using external tools to cheat, the in-game glitch abusers still ruin every Summit.
As long s they don't fix the reset button abuse, crash cam abuse, clutch cheat and lag switchers, any chance on fair play is gone.
Players like myself like a good competition. Not act like these idiots with their game abuse behavior, who are acting like it is cool to do so.
Current leaderboards are filled with losers who try to rig every event in The Crew. Too bad really, but it seems to be a plague with all online games.
I will only continue to do events to get the free Cars and Bikes. But the play for fun level has dropped dramatically in The Crew
