Enhanced graphics for the PC players, but only if you have Nvidia.

The difference is probably not as massive as they make it seem. They are comparing no AA at all to TXAA. AMD users will be able to use at minimum MSAA (unless this has changed since the beta) or possibly through CCC (unreliable)Bear304 wrote:Off course this is an Nvidia exclusive, guess i have another good reason to get a GTX 970 after seeing this massive image difference
Well my rig could run The Crew's beta on ultra, but then the my HD 7950 started stutter the image, but when the retailers come to their senses and sell the GTX 970 at its listed retail price, then i'll get itJoocyfroot wrote:

Ambient occlusion is nice though. I'll be kind of annoyed if the only option for AO is HBAO+, but such is life.
The performance hit for AO is usually significant, so for me personally it's not a big deal since I probably can't run with everything on high anyways.
Side note: I realize that HBAO+ is claimed to take much less a hit on performance compared to the other versions of AO.
TXAA is Nvidia exclusive. MSAA does eat performance, I always use at least 2xMSAA though, the quality has always been better than post process AA in my experiences.Bear304 wrote: TXAA and MSAA eats up a huge part of the GPU's power on AMD cards, plus Nvidia has designed their GTX 9x0 to work more smoothly work with these extras

What sort of rig do you have going btw?
Lol forgot about TXAA being nvidia only xD Hmm well i use as much AA as i can, for a better image, but for me FPS is stil more important than eye-candy, so as much AA without lowering the FPSJoocyfroot wrote:TXAA is Nvidia exclusive. My rig is nothing special. Ahtlon x4 640, r7 260x. Cheap motherboard, quality PSU. Partiot g2 ram underclocked cause my motherboard is cheap.
Even running just 2x MSAA will probably get you a better image than TXAA (IMO of course). It is nice though that they put TXAA in the game for Nvidia owners, particularly for let's say triple monitor setups since performance really starts to matter when you pump up the resolution. It's also really nice for the guys that have lower end gpus that like the look of TXAA. But anyways I'll back up my claims here about MSAA opposed to TXAA by letting you be the judge:Bear304 wrote: Lol forgot about TXAA being nvidia only xD Hmm well i use as much AA as i can, for a better image, but for me FPS is stil more important than eye-candy, so as much AA without lowering the FPS
I have 8gb ram, the model name is g2.Arh that kind of entry system reminds me of when i started out with my first desktop i build myself, and then upgraded it in steps to what i have today
But is 2 gb ram is that even enough to run The Crew, don't it need atleast 4 gb to run
That's very interesting .. I could only detect a small difference for the worse, MSAA x8 looks the best imo. TXAA blurs the image more somewhat more, i guess i'll stay Red until Nvidia comes to they senses and lower their premium pricesJoocyfroot wrote:Even running just 2x MSAA will probably get you a better image than TXAA (IMO of course). When you move the slider across you will notice some the difference, sometimes it's more pronounced like with the trees and hair.

But yeah I'm just frugal, this is my 7th PC if I'm not mistaken. Due for an upgrade pretty soon though, I've had the mobo and cpu for something like 4 years now.
Luny i think it's a safe bet that your pc will run it just fine, as a beta couldn't change that much from the real gameLunytrickz wrote:Wow,
The 2 PC BETA's did run just fine for me on ultra
and that on my Vista 64
i realy hope the actual game will to
