First I heard of this miraculous creature was moments ago on the internet while perusing for information of the forgotten Galibier...

As it turns out, Bugatti isn't finished with the Veyron just yet. Come 2013, they're supposedly introducing a 1,600 horsepower Bugatti SuperVeyron, perhaps with a 9.6L W16. This new Veyron is said to drop 550 pounds from the already lightened Veyron SS! Zero to sixty in 1.8 seconds...The projected top speed? 288 miles per hour...AKA the old top speed for the Veyron SS in TDU2.

I don't think so.....i remember CAR magazine's interview of the buggati CEO and he said 'we cannot go faster than 268 miles per hour because our test driver doesn't wanna' or something like that. No wait....he said we need to improve aero not engine for top speed. Oh sod it...here's the article:

As long as it keeps comfy and cozy i'll love it, and the 600 lbs less will help with the horrid understeer that plauges bugs today.

I read in Car and Driver that their next model was called the "3M project" in tribute to one of their older cars...it would be a 4-cylinder to rival the Lotus Elise.

This "SuperVeyron" thing is news to me. The article is just over a week old and claims that it will be unveiled at the Frankfurt auto show...we'll see about that alright. I don't know who to believe

This is how the first Veyron had to be.

Maybe that's the reason I only like the Veyron SS. I think the 'normal' veyron is friggin ugly, while the SS version is just epic (just don't like the backside of the normal one).
