I disagree with this. I really think the threads for new cars should only be done by someone who can put good information and pictures in the OP and not by someone who will just post a video and some text like 'hey guys, a new hyper car', if you're able to make a thread with an OP like mine then I'd... still be only sort of okay with it 'cause I'd still not be able to have access to edit the OP and title of the thread like I wanted...

I wish this forum had another class of registered members that were called "News-Tellers" or something like this and that they had the permission/power to edit the threads for cars and games news, or at least have priority in bein' the OP for them (like if someone made a thread for a new car or game but didn't put much effort into it, the news-teller would be able to create a new proper thread for the subject in a span of something like 24 hours and have it be the "official" thread for it with them bein' the new OP). This would really resolve the issue I have with other people bein' the OP of a car thread, here's an idea for the forum, Bez, Madman.

I see your point, but last time i checked this was an open forum and not a dictatorship, so i reserve my right to post what ever i want, unless our Admins changes things.

But if you get the News-Tellers tittle then you have first pick, besides you are first to make threads normally so i don't see the point of spinning this any further out of context - to much effort to make a new thread anyway, i just saw an opening earlier today and took it, and in my thread i actually asked you if if you wanted anything changed but deleted it again so you couldn't have seen, but then you grilled me about making it in the first place... So whatever.

I see your point about the whole "dictatorship" thing. But to me it is just so good to have all the car threads properly titled and with some nice research or content in them, I say this because there is a car forum that is just like this with their threads for new vehicles, I sort of take inspiration from them and even try to model this sub-forum after them. Some say that forum's rules makes it very good for navigation and searchin' while others really dislike it and think it's far too harsh to create a new thread there, but I am fine with them, almost always.

"Normally" isn't the same as "always" though... :(

Too much effort maybe only if you try to make'em like how I do it, but I like what I do. I apologise about the "grilling" my reasonin' is already mostly at the first part of this post, I just like havin' everything organized and easy to navigate but at the same time I hardly trust somebody to do something I want to.

If you had made your thread before me perhaps we could've come into a consensus without all this arguin' as you were willin' to let me change a few things but I never ended up knowin' anything about it besides the title. Again, apologies, I just want the forum to be organized and have some nice content in it.

Regardless if you want the forum to be "organized and easy to navigate" people will still continue to post and create threads for what they want the way they want it. Of course they could sympathize with you and make their threads follow the same guidelines you use for your threads but that's another story.

About the car, I think it doesn't look good but it's not bad either. The 1:1 power to weight ratio is impressive for something street-legal, I look at this car as if it has been built upon a F1 chassis.

Looks like they put a Peugeot 905 over an F1 car but forgot to actually make it look nice.

I also agree maintaining a high quality standard is good for the forum.

There is so much car news to cover, that more members will come up with news. Many eyes see more than one pair. It does not necessarily have to be the same OP, it can be the second post as well. But i keep it in mind. Some consistency can make things better to navigate and is also more appealing.

I will also look into improving things in the future, like dedicated sections.

Back to topic:
It is indeed very close to an F1 car with an Aston cover. And that is a compliment for all designers and engineers involved. I remember a similar type of project between Mercedes and McLaren that went... well, less good. McLaren ended up more like a badge on a Merc.

They did not mention downforce numbers, but considering the Vulcan can already create 600 kilos, i would not be surprised if this one can produce double and by that be able to drive upside down in theory. And with a V12 it will sound good as well.

A story I'd like to delve in as I guess I could deal with the second post of the thread havin' the main info but there were people in the past whom refused to cooperate with me about the title of the thread for it to be indexed properly.

There is even goin' to be a track-only version of this car which could, predictably, generate even more downforce than the road car. Speakin' of drivin' upside down, I do remember one very unknown car manufacturer claimin' their trackday special could do so, it was some car called "Reynard Inverter" or something along these lines.
