I made a poll for reset abuse in races. During my PvP adventures, i encountered many, mainly Platinum Racers who constantly did this whenever they could. Annoying, unneeded and unsporty.

What a mess. Just read the Twitterfeed and Reddit...

TBH, why don't they let their "Pit Crew" test these updates first?

This and the faillure not to include a level or track editor (again)

Add to that the stupid CC only DLC cars that are way overpriced and this ship is sinking faster than DiCaprio ditches girlfriends.

I have to say that I didn't have any trouble starting the game, even with reshade turned on. Maybe it's on some rigs that run other CPU or graphics card (I have a Intel i5 and nvidia gtx1060)

For me this update is another Summit filler to keep some playerbase busy while they work on a huge expansion or a new game. Just the same that happened with the release of Calling All Units for TC1.
The lack of actual features to keep playing like a race editor, a club system or crew wars make me step out from this game a while ago.

Also, if he remembered correctly, Don said "The Pit Crew" was closed, so no further player feedback will be given directly to the developers.

Finally was able to login

Twitter and Reddit were red hot for a while
I have had similar issues during TTS a while back.

Might indeed be a combo, i5/GTX1070/16G should still be more than enough to run this game.

All good now. Might be server side issues.

You can try to run the game in W8 compatibility modus.
I tried this and could run the game.

Level Editor & Custom Races

This has been requested now various times, in different shapes and forms throughout the forums and on fan sites all over the Web.
And it is badly needed. Unlock some of the potential this game has.

Level Editor

Up to 99 Checkpoints
Route based on type of vehicle
Create loops
Number of laps
Reversed course races
Customize for type of vehicle (Hot Hatch, Classic only, GT only etc)
Limit to class or group of classes
Select groups (Harley and Indian bikes only etc)
Limit to single brands or group of brands (Ford vs Ferrari for example)
Select weather options; default, dry and sunny, weather type, intensity, variation, duration.
Select time of day; default, night, noon, dusk, dawn, time speed.
Customize traffic options; on/off, intensity, variation, duration, aggression
Select Ai opponents; on/off, level, erratic behavior, mood, skill



Level editor can be used to create cruises, races and (club) events. So a scoreboard, with car type and number of attempts will be nice as well.

In addition to a fully customizable level editor, an option to use existing events to modify for custom races and events.

Custom Races

Use existing tracks and races
Add or remove extra checkpoints
Reversed track options
Adapt for other classes of vehicles
Manage time of day and weather options as mentioned above
Customize traffic Ai
With or without Ai opponents ( when in a group)
Crew vs Crew races
Equalizer races (Best player gets least favorite cars)
Knockout Race
Qualifying race; 1 lap, no traffic or Ai
Limit to car bands
Limit to groups of cars or bikes
Single brands or groups of brands
Select Classic, GT, Hot Hatch, Sports Sedan, Hypercar and so on
Allow different type of classes and adapt strength accordingly
Add penalty for leaving the track on Circuits
Limit BOT to 3
Add increasing time penalty for BOT and crashcam (ab)use.




And as a bonus

Create LIVE events, by combining multiple races and events 2,3,4 or even more
Create Custom Skill Runs; Slalom, Escape, etc
Create events with custom tuning and car settings (Loaner cars or limited owned cars and bikes)
Cars with promotional liveries for club or race team events or to show off skillz (Loaner cars)
Share (or limit) custom (club) events through a community racing center, added next to PvP and Summit. in the menu

I gues the Dev team in Lyon is on a stric diet of Peyote and Ayahuascu.

Car culture would make sense in a game with custom homes and social environments. Like TDU.
They just dont know what they want.
